I remember I seen this when I was on holiday with the family. We were all laughing because we were front row and the fat bear came down from the ceiling on top of us and we didn’t want to look up 😂😂

Because it's real Country Music. These songs were hits back when they first came out. Check them out on youtube or other music sites and hear the originals. Unlike most of Disney management's choices, they've made good selections keeping these standards for their guests...

Max, Melvin, and Buff are reduced to spectators, the Five Bear Rugs aren't seen as the house band that performs often, and shortening the finale takes away from the "everyone take a bow" setup.

This is a heart swelling show! The first time my family went to Disney my Dad laughed so hard he about fell out of his chair!! THIS is a memory worth sharing! I now have my grands loving "Crunchy" Bears!! (he can't say Country Bears). Thanks for sharing this. We love it! I hope they never change it!
I really like how animatronics work. It is really cool. I would love to see these guys, but I barely get out of my house. I would love to see one more animatronic before they are extinct. The movements of animatronics amazes me so much. The effort put into them is really cool. Amazing!
What makes you think they are going extinct? They are building new ones all the time and investing in new technology. You should see the one in Pandora Avatar at Animal Kingdom - Amazing!

While I'm kinda disappointed they abridged the show, I do like how some of the animatronics look now. For example, Gomer (the one on the piano) now has a pretty snazzy haircut and beard.

While I like how they finally fixed up the Bears and made them faster, but the cuts... Wow.. They removed an entire song, a vast amount of dialog, and shortened the gaps in between lines the Bears and animal heads say, it all feels a lot more forced. It's not completely ruined, but the attraction used to be much better..
Oh I'm a huge fan of Disney's work on the Country Bears, America Sings, Splash Mountain, The Haunted Mansion, and many more. You might find me on a multitude of country bear videos.

This makes me so happy to watch and so very sad at the same time. Childhood memories these bearsvwere my favorite as a kid at Disneyland and I was there all the time we lived close by. I'd tell my Grandma "I'm not riding the madahorn I'm going to see the blues beard group again' for the 3rd time a day. Us kids would sit quietly not making a peep memorized by their show. Henry was my favorite cause he had a raccoon in his head. I'm now 45, probably was 5-12 when I last saw them and would be pertrified to see what kind of nuts show they put on now. Probably some twilight zone terror right flashing lights at the kids I'd rather drop dead then have to see. I miss these country bears I loved. Where did they go? And I must also ask beats "Where's your reputation sons?'

I will personally buy the entire production and set it up in my garage.
I have this incredibly vague memory of being at this show in 1991 when I was 3, and getting upset about something and throwing a fit and my parents yelling at me the whole rest of the day about how poorly behaved I was…don’t remember why I got upset, but it just sticks out in my mind for whatever reason hahaha.

It's very amazing how much animatronics deteriorate in the span of a few years. I was there in March and poor Henry's first animatronic's eyes and mouth were jittering and spazzing :(

I think it was actually the people - not staying for the whole show and getting up and walking out mid-show - seems people today need constant stimulation or they get bored. Same thing with the Tiki Room - actually, same thing with TH-cam videos - you would be shocked how many people CAN'T watch a 5 minute video without hopping to another one - just how we are evolving. I remember horror movies when I was a kid had a huge slow build up (Jaws) - today, there has to be action instantly :)

I think it was actually the people - not staying for the whole show and getting up and walking out mid-show - seems people today need constant stimulation or they get bored. Same thing with the Tiki Room - actually, same thing with TH-cam videos - you would be shocked how many people CAN'T watch a 5 minute video without hopping to another one - just how we are evolving. I remember horror movies when I was a kid had a huge slow build up (Jaws) - today, there has to be action instantly :)
