I'm glad you ended up with cozy and quiet! After morning choir singing and visiting with friends at church, my Sunday afternoon included knitting and reading by our cozy fireplace with two kitties nearby. 🎄 And a bit of Irish Cream!
I feel your pain - we had a new roof put on the summer before last and it took three days - the compressor was right outside of where I work and I could hear the hammering right through my noise cancelling earbuds. Glad it didn't last all day for you! Congrats on all the Vlogmas tags! So well deserved!
Thanks Paige! It's Sunday again today and I have to start some baking to get in the freezer and do some craft room tidying. We shall see how that goes 🤓
You're "big guns" to us Nancy 😎 Looks like a cozy Sunday and perfect snow viewing from inside: pretty! Roofers are coming to us (at last) this week...no where to hide though.
Happy Monday to you Nancy. Your Sunday was more relaxed than mine. We had the big family Christmas party with pot luck, socializing and gift exchange. My capacity for socializing for the week has been maxed out. So today I am looking for a quiet day with limited peopling. We have similar housecoats btw, mine is the same shade of purple if the colour is being read accurately by your camera. 😊 Have a great day.
Those events are fun when you get there, but nerve-wracking before and then the exhaustion after 🤓 I totally get that! We need fuzzy warm robes in Canada...this one has to be 25 years old, I think 🤔 😆
@ You explained that well. That’s amazing that your robe is 25 years old. Mine is 15-20 years old, I got it for Christmas when we lived in the NCR (National Capital Region). And I agree that a cozy robe is a must here in Canada. 🍁
Greetings from not so cold California. I really don’t think I could handle the cold and snowy that you are having! You are a hearty soul. PJ days are great! See you next time - I’m almost caught up. Vrede en vreugde
So sorry about the roofing noise. I was blessed that it was mid-May in 2023 when I had my roof (house and garage) replaced -- and I could be away from the noise most of the time, outside. As for mentions: Selma of Little Big Knits mentioned your latest sock pattern as one she'd like to try; waxed poetic about it in her most recent podcast (a regular 'cast, not a vlogmas). I was delighted to recognize the pattern -- and you -- when she did that! 😀
I was so lucky to have the basement to hide in, or I would have had to leave the house. Thanks for letting me know about Selmas lovely mention. I'm so behind on my TH-cam favourites that I had missed it 💕
Gosh Nancy so much snow how are they working on your roof with all that falling here in the UK a few flakes fall and everything comes to a halt 😂 loving you chats 🇬🇧
They gave up for the day a couple of hours after that because the wnow was coming down too heavily. They were shoveling the roof off as they were going 🤓
We got a new roof this summer and it took 3 weeks😳 luckily we were on vacation for 2 weeks but the last week they were here I went to my daughters apartment with my dog every day because of the noise - I was SO stressed😢 two weeks of travelling and one week in another place But we are so happy with our roof but omg😳
Relatively new subscriber here, and I'm enjoying your Vlogmas. Question: where did you get your beautiful pink basket? Thanks. - Heather from Nova Scotia

Oooohhh Irish Cream! We haven't got ours yet. There would be none left for Christmas 🤓
How wonderful to see snow falling like that! We rarely get any snow so it’s lovely to see it. Really enjoying your videos Nancy!
Thank you Heather 💕 The snow has all melted, so we may have a green Christmas after all 🎄
Beautiful snow! Sounds like a perfectly lovely pajama day to me! The cowl is wonderful hope it stretches a bit.
The cowl has taken forever to dry. I'm going to try it on tomorrow 🫣
Listening to roofers is crazy !! TOO LOUD !!! Glad you had a Robe Relaxing day !!

Hope they get that roof done in time for santa, sleigh, and reindeer to land😊
We all good to go with a sturdy new roof 💕😆
