Why the negative comments ? This was the beginning of Ghost , they had kinks to workout . This was ground zero . They have become one of the best bands in decades . He is one of the best singers around . So what if younger girls like them , I'm 52 and like them. Talent and good songs win everytime
That guy in front row singing is feeling it. He knew they were the real deal! I remember seeing them back in 2010 or something and I knew this was something special.

@MRSUPIZDUMATERINU666 It sure is... Saw Ghost and Repugnant live at the same concert just a few days ago. He had forgot to change pants/shoes, and the talk inbetween the songs are made in exactly the same voice, and when he's playing guitar in repugnant you see that he really wants to move his hands. But both of them are fricin saucesome.... insain.

I know this is Tobias but CLEARLY something is different with his voice compared to what Ghost were like the 1st time I ever heard them (which was during the Meliora/Papa III era). His voice sounds much deeper here & maybe it's the way the board was mixed OR maybe Tobias liked the way his voice sounds with more treble & high end like it does now. If I had to choose, I'd go with the way he sounds now. It's unique and as soon as you hear him sing, you KNOW that's Tobias. If I'd never heard this version of Ritual before & I was just hearing the audio, I wouldn't recognize the vocals. All in all, phenomenal performance as always & it's SO hard to believe this was his 1st show performing as Ghost. I was brought here from an article I got in an e-mail & I'm so glad I was able to enjoy this. Kudos to the original uploader for sharing this. Ghost are one of those bands that when you first see them (well, before they were headlining arenas!) you just knew they were going to be huge. I remember my first show (it wasn't a Ritual but a show in the hot ass sun at a festival) & I just knew as soon as I saw the band that big things were in store. I hope to get to catch them at an arena some day but nothing beats the intimate shows in the smaller theatres either. 💙🤘🤘🤘🤘💙

Ghost is a pretty damn good metal band. One of the great things about living in a modern world is the ability to chose. You have the choice to believe in god, the devil or the jersey shore and for the most part nobody will kill you for these beliefs. I'm not saying that's one hundred percent guaranteed at all times. Depending on your location and such but it mostly holds up. I especially like having the choice to ignore what some people have to say and or that they even exist at all.

@bikerluke182 Yeah, i agree with what you´re saying, but at the same time i can feel that it´s kind of nice that they don´t overdo everything like most other bands, it kind of relaxes my mind, easy listening you know? I like the simplicity yet with beautiful lead and background vocals and catchy songs :). That´s why i think they´re really special, but that´s just my two cents.

Mercyful Fate, Death SS, Pentagram, Cradle Of Filth and so on and I LOVE'em because their music is "powerful, atmospheric, not so popular, spiritual and full of strong feelings" and "these things are TOO MUCH important to me, in music" I cannot find other words to describe but the ones you used. It's like Danzig era Misfits. A really great catchy melody with great singing but then you notice how grotesque and absurd the lyrics are. I love it!
