I am 74 years old and now I know that I have hooded eyes! I knew it was hard to put shadows on them. We did not have TH-cam when I was growing up. Never too old to learn. I like this because it is quick but looks good. Staying at home gives me time to play with colors and see what I like and what I won’t do again, but I don’t have to worry because no one will see what I did. Well we made it another week! Thanks 😊
I LOVE your eye tutorials. The outer V / or as you called it outer 7 and crease have changed my eyeshadow technique forever for the better. I keep your 5 minutes eye videos and rewatch - a lot of good tips that I love to review. Till I heard you call that outer V - the outer 7 I didn’t get it. Visualizing it as a Seven really helped.
So excited to try each of these. I am never happy when I try to get fancy and duplicate a complicated look. But I know I can do these. My lids are crepey and hooded. I did have the surgery last August and it helped. But I’m thrilled you showed these three and I will try them soon. I haven’t been wearing makeup too often with the quarantine of course. Hi Nisha! You are my go-to for hooded eyes and I so appreciate all the videos you’ve done and tricks you’ve shared with us. For anyone with severely hooded eyes...it’s possible that your eye surgery may be covered by your health insurance if your eye hoods are interfering with your vision. It’s definitely worth checking out if your eyes are that hooded because unfortunately they’re most likely going to get worse with age.

Great looks and pretty colors. You must not have crepe eyes just hooded. Lucky!! Mine are crepe and hooded and I am having a hard time getting past putting eyeshadow on. I use to wear it all the time. Then I stopped for many years and have been trying to get back into it but the crepe skin is a challenge for me. Know any thing to help that? TFS Stay safe!
maybe a cream formulas or shadow sticks (like crayons) would work? i know they come in matte/shimmer/sparkle formulas, so use the same principals Nisha said. Use a darkish matte formula all over and up to crease, blend with a brush. a shimmer (not sparkle) in the center just on top of the eyeball if you think it would work with the crepey-ness, skip it if it doesn't. Maybe even just a lighter matte in the center. stay safe!
I love the way you always use sparkles or foiled eyeshadows. My question is do you get fallout throughput the day or does the foil accentuate the wrinkles on your lids ? As I find this really frustrating when I try to use some sparkley shadows. I'm 65 and have very good skin although my eyes are semi hooded.
