Rajputi Wedding Ritual PADLA where the Groom's family send the Bride her wedding dress, jewellery, make up kit, fruits, sweets and all kind of bridal trousseau items. A padla is usually displayed a day before wedding at groom's house and on the wedding day at bride's house. after keeping some auspicious amount from all the items it is returend back to groom's house.

Everything which comes in padla is of Real Gold. The pearl set is real too.. 🙏🏻

In Bengali weddings..this is is quite similar to totto which is displayed for the guest to have a look..on haldi day..groom side's totto , called gaye holuder totto, is welcomed at brides house which includes brides saree which she wears in reception, sweets,and various other kinds of gifts..there are gifts for thr bride n her relatives..the similar kind of totto set, called phool shojja totto goes to the groom house after a day of wedding..these days decorating totto trays is a legit profession whre the client is charged asnper no. Of trays n kind of required decoration

R all these gift packing done by wedding planners or done by shopkeepers from where it is bought ?? Would love to see more of Rajputi customs and traditions performed by brides side too.

If I talk specifically about padla then there are some shops which have padla items they themselves do padla packing according to our price range. Event planners also do packing according to your themes. It can be done at home as there are many decorative baskets and trays are available in the market these days.
P.S. Sure hukam will show customs and rituals of bride's side too.

Hukam it comes from the Groom's side. the 'modh' which is also called 'sevra' in Rajasthan.

Khammaghani 🙏 All the jewellery given in padla are made from Real Gold. The Aad, and some necklaces are given by Groom's side.

Aur beti ko Aad ke alawa saari jewellery jo bhi aap dena chahen, thori light suits, aur sarees baaki heavy poshaks sab padle main aati hain. Aur aaj kar sarees bhi aati hain. Make-up main minimum make-up he dena chahiye coz sagai aur shaadi dono main make-up kits aate hain. Isliye make-up ke samaan bahut waste hote hain. Winter wedding hai tou shawls aur sweaters hone chahiye matching. Sandals aur comfortable slippers zarur honi chahiye. Bed dena bhi shagun hota hai kahin kahin. Waise tou beti ko poore ghar ka he samaan diya jata tha pehle but aajkal itna len den nahi karte. Aur baaki jo bhi apki beti ki zarurat ke samaan hai wo he imp hote hain.. Kuch jageh par sara samaan dulhe ke ghar bhej diya jata hai.. aur wahan use rishtedaron main baant diya jaata hai.. aur kuch jageh ladki wale apne rishtedaron main baant dete hain. Jo cheez saal bhar rakhni hoti hai usmain Haldi, Mehndi, suhaag pura aur kuch shagun ke saaman hote hain.
