If I recall this story was a homage to Jack Kirby and his contribution to comics. Peter and Kevin did ask for Jack Kirby's blessing for the story so it's a really special love letter to Jack "the King" Kirby and American comics.
I'm so glad they're re-releasing the Eastman and Laird 4 pack again.
I must be blind..where did the video show the Eastman and Laird turtles?

No, it is part of the 2016 NYCC Foot Clan Figure Four-Pack. The soldier with the Ronin/Samurai hat. (Foot Elite Guard) he came out in Eastman and Laird (City at War) comic.

the sais for ralph are different and smaller than the turtles in disguise release.

Pretty wild these toys are made for adults or collectors. Who would've thunk it that adults are still playing with toys in today's generation and kind of funny they're own kids is wondering, why is that 😂

Leather jackets show up in two episodes. First appearance had the white jacket variant, but NECA went with their second appearance with Usagi Yojimbo. Where in it they wear leathers again, and Usaji’s wears his black robe monk disguise. The jackets are the same style, but the colors have changed.

@@chewmaniac86 A true request from the fan’s point of view. I feel you, but if we look at what they do and how they do it, especially when it comes to any release, we see a pattern where it’s never done by how us fans would want it.
It always done on how they can maximize the mold’s reuse. If the popularity isn’t off the charts it’s always with the least desirable versions first.
White jacket version was the original. If given a choice, I think more fans would prefer that original over the 2nd, probably because we feel we don’t really need to have both, whereas NECA looks at it as a way for the company to get more out of the one mold with two colors. Probably more than either color would do alone ( guessing ).
I feel it’s generally the same thing, for comics release order, where we first get the lesser desired IDW Color Classics which uses a 2nd color palette, then we get First Comics original color palette, and Final we get the original Black and White.
So, for example, we got IDW Mirage Grey Shirt Casey, then First Comic’s Mirage Red Shirt Casey. So, next up would be original Mirage Black and White Casey 🤷♂️
I dunno, just by observing them it seems like that’s the pattern they’re pushing.
@rinrio-oki3665 I couldn't agree more, and it's NECA, so they'll probably re-release it later with the white jacket variant anyway. maybe in a 2-pack with the much needed old lady with the shopping cart, grocery bags(already made now), and her laser rifle! 😆 🤞🤞
We should probably all start nagging NECA for rereleases in advance on the ultimates turtles and punk turtles, because anything with the turtle figures always instantly sells out, lol scalpers ruin everything.
