the orange lines are just showing that you are playing a chord. The only show up on GY and RB chords I think. (can't remember if they're on 3/4 note chords.

in Rock band Unplugged version you cannot hear the message is saying on the break down section but you can hear it carefully in the original version.
Trust me. You don't want to change that while you're playing. It's a big help.
They're on chords of whatever notes are more than 1 space apart from each other, to show that you have to play them at the same time.
