Awww I am so glad to hear you are looking into the Winbush course. He is amazing. The tutorial I started with of his was the "Recreating the Mars landscape" I loved his teaching style which was why i jumped on board when I saw he had a full course.

I completely understand. I know that Puget has more affordable options and Xsens also has a more affordable suit, the Awinda. On a side note, I hope you do reach your goal and your dream;) I started out with just a laptop and mixamo data, never thought Id be where I am today. So, dont give up!
As a budget creator this is an amazing and demotivating video. Cool stuff you can do and cool courses you can complete, but also you need ~30k$ for the motion suit, pc and other gear.. will continue working with cardboard gear
Hi P, I agree, huge investment! However, I did mention to someone else in the comments, Puget does have more affordable workstations and Xsens has the Awinda suit which is definitely more affordable. And trust me, we all start out with cardboard gear. Dont give up and keep on creating, you never know where it will lead you.

Hi! Your short looks amazing! Wow! Talk about a fast learner! I am located in the US;) With regards to the difference between my suit and the Rokoko, I am not sure how to answer that as I have never used a Rokoko suit before. For facial capture, I use Faceware Studio and stream in my facial motion data into Unreal with Live Client plugin by Glassbox. I have a tutorial on how to set that up;)
