Why is all the hate coming now that supposedly they're saying that this is Mac Jones 2.0 I've watched film all this winter ain't no way shape or form this is not another Mac Jones this is more like a bootleg Josh Allen
He looks Brady when standing tall inside the pocket and very good throwing like Brady in tight windows in the middle of the field , he is like mahomes when running left outside the pocket can flick it against momentum and has the mentality and aggresiveness of the playmaking of Josh Allen
So let me get this straight. He QB'd a team that needed 2OT to beat App St, barely beat a 3-4 GT, lost to a 1-5 UVA team. I'm sorry, but I'm not impressed. The level of competition is laughable. I realize that it's not all on him, but come on man. To be considered to be the #2 overall pick, i would expect that qb to carry that team.
He definitely has mutant like arm talent, best pure arm talent we’ve seen in awhile in any draft. Take his arm talent, build and athleticism and clean up his passing mechanics pocket presence and give him some NFL experience and you might have something special.
I am no expert. Not at all. I watch college QB highlights and compare what I see, that's all. And I don't see the hype about Maye. Receivers consistently need to slow down on routes, reckless throws under pressure. Happy feet. What makes Maye a top 2 QB?
Potential. NFL teams often draft a player based on what they could make him become, not necessarily on what he is right now. Kind of like when you buy a house 😜 The josh allen example is a great one.
Too soon, man. Maybe I’ll watch in the spring

It’s clearly the defense that lost those games, to say otherwise is folly.

Besides the size and arm strenght, that play at 10:12 is totally josh allen-like
