A for initiative! Your skills can only get better. I’ll admit, I laughed when I saw how it looked when you were done - but I admire you going for it. Every tip replacement will get better and better, especially if you buy a little repair lathe.
You guys are funny. Lots of animosity towards Bill but to be honest it got the tip replaced and if it doesn't hold up, oh well, will just replace. Fairly cheap for an intro piece. Thanks Bill for the simple video. Should have my son back at the table with a decent tip by morning.
Wow you ruined that tip by making the entire thing rounded like a dome. You're only suppose to round off the tip of the tip. lol.. DO NOT USE A GRINDER especially on a layered tip.
Some of the same people who criticize this are the same ones who pay $50 plus shipping to have basically the same thing done. he did change the tip right?
Entirely false... I don't know a single player with a layered tip that doesn't use there pick from time to time I use it and it doesn't ruin the tip it does exactly what it should. As long you go straight in straight out your totally fine.
Please tell me you are not the guy in you city who does tips, if I ever see you in Vegas or another international tournament please stay far away from my cues.
Like most people I've never seen someone shape a tip into a dome like that at all and it's a pretty ugly job.. but.. hey if it works for you who cares if you get a life span off that tip and you play well who gives a shit what a bunch of snobs say.

Hallie Le why replace it if you have a chance of it not holding up?
It was great meeting you today. Thank you for coming to EASTERN BILLIARDS for a proper tip replacement. Love your video. "how not to do it"... LOL
Great meeting you too. The new tip and cue. Working out real good.
Wow.... All I can really say about the quality.

an aspirator is a pump...
I know right lol. This nigga don't know shit.
Absolutely no doubt this guy smoked a joint right before making this video ..
Sh!t....! I smoke and shoot really well...!
please don't ever try to put a fucking 30 dollar tip on if you can't do it with a 2 dollar tip first
why what worng he made ?
everything!
- Don't remove a tip with pliers.
- Sand the ferrule evenly, not like he did.
- Don't try to shape the new tip with a grinding machine.
love it this guy went crazy on a 30$ tip, had no clue what he was doing and his "nickel" shape looked like the rockies
Nice
Lol wow. This is a first. Hey as long as he is only doing his then I guess no harm.
Видео про то как клеить не надо
this is soooooo painful to watch.

OMG This is how NOT to do it!
Sheesh that grinder is unnecessary.😬 A razor blade, piece of wood, a tool and sand paper is much safer/accurate.
try practicing first with cheap elk master tips. improve.
what... the... fuck...
Please tell me you are not the guy in you city who does tips, if I ever see you in Vegas or another international tournament please stay far away from my cues.
:)
Please don't ever attempt to fix a tip again... 😐
Ravi Trivedi How do you do it then?
