The Patton Park area is highly populated with Latinos. Dix Ave is a short bike ride to Patton Park from the shooting scene. Maybe the shooter rode his bike down Schaefer Rd. to the city of River Rouge. Anyone who rides a bicycle around town is local. He's nearby.
