- Hi, my name is Keisha. Take a tour of the craft space in my apartment. I use an Original ScrapBox Workbox 3.0 and IKEA Kallax bookcases to create my MiniMint craft space and organize my craft supplies in a corner of the living room.

I am so jealous, yet so happy for you. Cause you have not one but 2 beautiful craft space. I’m a widow & love crafting. I have years of craft supplies & have tried to organize it all but it never works for me. I do use all of everything I have, maybe not right now but I know I will lol. Without my crafting I would have been a mess after my husband passed. I have been a crafter since I was old enough for my mom to teach me how to sew & crochet. Then I taught myself counted cross stitch, needlepoint & embroidery. I taught myself how to piece & sew & then hand quilt all the quilts I have made or designed. I make cards, do scrap booking, paint on glass, wood & even walls. And this is just some of what I like to do. When my husband became ill with stage 4 non Hodgkin lymphoma cancer, we lost our beautiful home & had to move into a single wide mobile home. Before here I had a nice big craft room with a very large closet & cabinets that my husband built for me. But after all that he died from ALS which is such an awful disease & worse then when he had the cancer. So here I am a 67 year old widow living in my single wide mobile home & just wish I could have my craft supplies so nice & organized like you. I love the craft box, but it’s something that I will never be able to afford. My husband never got life insurance so I live month to month on his social security. I’ve been disabled for many years due to having severe scoliosis of the spine. I had 3 spine surgeries, but I will never be ok. I’m just happy that I can get up & walk with my 2 legs & so far not have to be in a wheel chair yet. I’ve survived stage 2 breast cancer. So I’m grateful to still be alive & to spend time with my 6 grand children. I didn’t mean to tell you a part of my life story & Im sorry for that.
I guess maybe I wanted to tell you this cause I’m hoping you appreciate & realize how fortunate you are to have all what you have. Never take your life for granted & another thing Ive learned is never put things off or if you wanted to say something to someone you are close to, if you can do it that day, then do it, cause tomorrow may never come. You are very blessed & I wish you the best of everything that you do. Keep using your talent & never give up. Stay safe & healthy my dear. Ty for listening. You have a beautiful space. I'm not a crafter and only made cards and my own paper years ago.
I only had a table with a few boxes and my calligraphy pens.
It's interesting how we find our creativity.
I went to many places to buy paper. I also loved antique paper and cards. I'd buy stray lace pieces and cut it for work on cards. The Nepalese paper is lovely. That's it. Seeing all of that ink is overwhelming! I understand there are different types, but 20 blue pens?
I like the intricate cuts. Still, less can be more. Painters create their own colors with basics.
So card crafters really get into it! Enjoy!
Claudes Claws I agree! Having too many things can be overwhelming and slow down the creative process at times, so I purge my stash regularly. Sometimes having a lot of options can allow you to explore new things but it isn’t necessary. I’ve always had a weakness for stationery and all things “crafty”. 😂😂😂 My limits are triggered if “my stuff” gets in the way of my crafting and then I let things go. @@KeishaatThePaperMint You purge things? I bet you look for new replacements! Ha! It would have to be part addiction having many colors driven by creativity.
I used to be such a paper addict! I even made my own. I'd find it at old estate sales, antique stores, stationary shops, etc.
I still have some of it.
Now, with all of these crafting tools, it's so different.

From one Keisha to another who spells our name right; you are a woman after my own heart. I’ve been talking about getting a craft room and/or she shed for the longest. But I became disabled in 2016 and my income was cut down severely. Oh well maybe I will be blessed to get a room that is a quarter the size of your palace. You are now my favorite person in my world. I would love to be your mentee or friend. Just to pick your brain about this and that, while sipping on some tea or cognac. It was a pleasure meeting you through your castle on TH-cam. It’s awesome.

Oh my, I am a brand new subbie; just had to subscribe after seeing your gorgeous second craft room. I saw your Georgia craft room some time ago, but it must have been “a copy of a copy of a copy as there was no reference as to whom it belonged. It was quite some time ago and I just dreamed of having one like it. I do not have quite that much space and also assumed it was a showroom, not a personal space. So beautiful! This room showed up in my recommendations, and I started not to watch…SO GLAD I Did! Craft room envy is my new name! Have considered a scrapbox, but realized trying to get it assembled just would not happen. Off to look at some of your other videos. Thank you so much for sharing both of your spaces. OMG! I just so happen to come across your video........so happy. I absolutely love "The PaperMint." When I started crafting in 2015, I saw your video and I was so inspired by your organization, storage, layout and accessibility to everything. I could go on and on. Now you have a perfect "Minimint." I love this one as well. It's well organized and yes, everything has a place. I love your variations of markers and water color (Coulor) pencils, pens, sprays, paste, paint, and glitter galore :) What a blessing to have 2 crafting spaces with great organization and full of life and color. The painting of your Mother; She is beautiful. The resembelence is there. I had to rewatch because I’ll be moving into a smaller apartment by the end of summer. It will take a lot of destashing a lot of supplies I haven’t used but I’ll feel much lighter (I hope!)
I have an original Workbox that I bought the inserts of the side doors. I hope to upgrade to the newer version but it’s just not in the budget right now. TFS!

This is incredible. Can't imagine what your GA crafting area is like. One question I had while watching is if you have duplicates of your stamps (or other things) for both locations or do you pick them up & have stamps, etc, move back & forth with you.
Hi Jane. I only duplicated some of my key tools like my glass mat, die-cutting machine, scoreboard. The rest I divided between the two locations and switched out seasonally. Whew! 😂

I dont know how I had not discovered or linked you to you tube but Voila here you are! Your mini space looks as wonderful as your larger studio! You are so cute with all your loves of various supplies! One thing girl, never apologize for your hands or fingers showing in your videos, they are lovely! Plus they work at all your beautiful creations! There is a tool I want to ask you about. It was in the last side when you opened the door. In the bigger section maybe half way. It looks like an acrylic stack of some sort like a cookie cooling rack but wrong material. What is that thing and what is it for? It was in the drawer that had something turquoise in the front.
