Edit: PLEASE READ! I stated that these are ranked based on how much I *personally like* them and how fun/thematic they are, NOT how *good* they are in the meta-game! It's honestly petty how many people disliked this video and left snobby comments because they misunderstood the point. Who knew Dominion fans were such elitists? 🙄 Original comment: How would you rank the cards?
I would definitely rank burocratand mine near the bottom. And the chapel is probably the best card in the base game, I would also rank lab and artisan higher
Yeah, I seem to be in the minority concerning the Bureaucrat. I also played a game shortly after filming this where I did use the Artisan a lot, but I only ever bought one because I kept top-decking it with a Harbinger.
I think i would rank nearly all cards different. But Sentry i would also place so high. He Is strong. But chapel thé best Card in my opinion in this Set. It Is first place. Laboratory is also very good. Smith Is good. Thé first four cards you listed in province i would rank worse.
@@Ana_Al-Akbar Thanks for sharing, it's fun to see how others play! I ranked the cards by how much I personally like them, not necessarily how "good" they are in the meta game. It's clear a lot of viewers didn't understand that as this is my most disliked video 😕
For the cost chapel is by far the best card in the base set. Getting rid of your coppers and estates early on allows you to get to your better cards more often. Coppers and estates just clog your deck. Just make sure to get an early silver so that you can get a good $5 card.
Trashing Copper is almost always a good strategy. Trashing Estates can be good, but I've also played games where the player that did so lost by 1-2 points and regretted it. It also is not a terribly exciting card and doesn't really combo, so less fun in my opinion.
@@BoardGamesBricksHobbies actually getting rid of the coppers and estates that clog your deck leads you to play more of your combos as they will hit more often since those coppers and estates dont get in the way. At more advanced levels even silver gold and any other treasuer can stop you in your tracks of playing the combos you are talking about. Donald V the man who created the game said himself that chapel is by far the greatest card in all of dominion for its price point.
That was fun to watch😀My personal ranking would look like swapping bureaucrat, mine with artisan, chapel, smithy. Interesting to see how different we can be
Thanks! Yeah, it's always fun to see what strategies others use. I just ranked them based on how often I gravitate towards those cards and how fun they are to use for me!
I clearly stated that these were ranked based on how much fun they are, as in, how much I enjoy playing them. Feel free to come back when you're off your high horse!
Open for opinion - this is my current ranking although I am a beginner: Tier 1 - Sentry, Militia, Bandit, Festival, Market, Laboratory, Smithy, Gold, Province, Chapel (this is less useful when you have Sentry), Poacher, Moneylender, Witch, Vassal, Throne Room Tier 2 - Moat (especially if opponent has attack cards), Village, Bureaucrat, Artisan (Tier 2/3), Cellar, Harbinger Tier 3 - Remodel, Workshop, Silver, Duchy, Council Room (could be Tier 2 but draws card for opponent also), Gardens, Mine (Tier 2/3), Merchant (Tier 2/3) Tier 4 - Library Tier 5 - Copper, Estates Open to suggestions!
Nice list! I also hardly use Library when it's available. I've never been able to use the Vassal well. Definitely agree with the most being most useful when attack cards are out. Thanks for sharing!

@@BoardGamesBricksHobbies Yes. I Inderstand this. Laboratory Is not so much fun in my opinion, but Věry good.

For me, if the village is in play i love the smithy. Otherwise i probably don't buy it, so it'd be a silver for me.
Yeah, one of the things I like about Dominion is that the variable setup forces you to rethink your strategy each game!
Nice
Thanks for watching!
