Love the batrep. Although, the only time "Stormcloaks" and "heroes" should be in the same sentence is "The heroes killed all the Stormcloaks". ;)
Thanks for the Elderscrolls content. Will definitely get this game at some point as it really looks to scratch a fantasy RPG/skirmish game itch.
Nicely done! It felt very Elder Scrolls, especially the part where the hero died, it felt very much like when my Dragonborn dies when I get too cocky 😁

Love watching these Elder Scrolls battle reports but I'm finding the rulebook and minis to be a bit of a pain to work through myself. Slight feeling of buyers remorse. Not sure if I should persevere or just jump on board with Rangers of Shadowdeep. :/

It's a bit immersion-breaking how dumb the AI can turn out. The mage was a prime example. And Hadvar in the previous report.

I don't know, people can be pretty dumb, that combined with the chaos of battle etc. we can make weird decisions
Is there only humans and undead so far? How very boring for the exciting universe that Elder Scrolls is. There are so many interesting monsters in the Lore. Also too Skyrim at the moment. Hope there will be other factions soon. I really don't care for the Empire nor the Stormcloaks. As long as I can bump some Aldmeri nose I'm happy.
But I get why they did it. Way too many Skyrim fanboys out there too ignore. Don't get me wrong Skyrim is not a bad game. I'm just annoyed by all the simplifying stuff and on the other side totally effin up the inventory. Damn you consoles. May you rot in hell. I want proper PC inventories back. Also unarmored and medium armor. And weapons. All the weapons...
Yeah I know. They won't dial back the wheel, when it's working so good for them. It's up to modders.
AI seems wacky. They should patrol if there was already bloodshed instead of idling away their actions. Is there an alarmed state? Seems like fun otherwise. And of course Ash is giving it his best! ;)
The plan is to cover everything from the Elder Scroll games. They just decided to start with Skyrim.
As mentioned, they have plans to expand the line, they just have limited production capabilities and the pandemic threw a big wrench in to their plans delaying a bunch of things by several months, they have quite a bit more out now, still focused on Skyrim except for the one Elder Scrolls Online box they have, but they have a dragon, frostbite spiders, flame atronachs, pretty much all the dwemer automata, frost trolls, they added the dark brotherhood as a faction, also lots of adventurers.
As for future factions, they'll be adding the volkihar vampires, dawn guard, generic bandits, they also already made a unit card for delphine and they've teased the thieves guild, personally i expect the companions to become a factions as well as the college of winterhold as well.
Though like you i'm hoping they'll add in factions from the earlier games, the dunmer great houses, hlaalu, redoran and telvanni, the ordinators, the morrowind creatures, man i can't wait for cliffracers to be chasing my characters just like in the game :P
I'd also like to see them make some generic boxes of the different races, like a box of 5 or 6 models for every race with 2 of every "path" for some much needed variety, though if that comes it will be in a couple of years probably.
(i'd also like for them to get in some greater variety of weapons, there are currently very few ranged units to be had for the existing factions so far.)
