He was using an AXE FX II with a Fender Twin Reverb (channel with no Reverb and Bright on OFF)...He hasn't any midi converter but the "soprano sound" comes from a HOG - Harmonic Octave Generator/Synthesizer

ciao, nel primo solo l effetto non è l hog ma una sorta di "breathing" vocoder se ci fai caso in bocca ha una specie di boccaglio..insomma canta ogni nota...alla benson..la sua voce però viene "syntetizzata" da questo ageggio...saluti

Solid body Yamaha SG 2000, from the vid looks to be a newer model with pick ups he put in for the style of music he plays. Cant be semi-hallow as it is for sure an Yamaha SG, could be sound chamberd but not likely. I own one that is very old 1500 model and is more or less a "Frankenstein" looking beast of a guitar on the outside (previous owner striped the deep black original finish and put in Dimarzio's which made it unique looking to other Yamaha SGs. They are AMAZING guitars!!! Kurt playing one just reafurms to me how great they really are and he's the fucking man for playing that heavy bitch for as long as he did. Keep up the great work Kurt and THANK YOU 4 POSTING Valerio!!
