I think it's the one that adjusts the air pressure inside the engine. you can see it goes towards the MAP Sensor. I don't think it's a good idea to install a cone air filter. You'll mess up the parameters and the check engine error will sure pop up. If you want get a K&N Filter with the same dimensions as the stock air filter. it'll be 10 times more expensive and you will not see any improvement in speeds aside from the noise. if you want more power get a Stage 1 Chip Tuning.

My problem is that the idle rpm is at 650, which seems very low to me, as I imagine it should be at 850 as I see in other videos of yours. With the filter change I have managed to get them to at least remain stable when idling. Do you have any idea what could cause this to be the case?
I'm watching your latest video and I notice that, at idle, the same thing happens in your car. When you stop, first you have 850/750rpm, and suddenly they start to drop below 750rpm until they stabilize below 750. Is this normal? I see you've had that car for years; I just bought the same one 1 month ago and it seemed odd to me that this would happen with revs. Thank you for your content again! 😉
@@xDobastorm Well, I can tell you what caused that on my car when I had it on LPG. It was the LPG pressure sensor. If you run your car only on petrol/gasoline it can be a number of things. How old is your battery?
@@xDobastorm At first it's perfectly normal to have a higher rev, until the engine warms a bit. My car at cold start goes up to 1000-1100rpms then it drops down to about 850, but over a few minutes time span. If the car runs ok with that low rpm and it doesn't feel like it's in limp mode or when you accelerate it doesn't slow down or feels that it would brake instead of going faster, don't worry. Although 650 is a bit low. I would replace the battery and the spark plugs first. THe best price/performance spark plugs with iridium you can put in the clio 3 are the Denso IXEH20TT ones. Also make sure to put the best quality gasoline in it. I use only the one from the MOL gas stations with 100+ Octane.
Hello. My car doesn't have a gasoline filter. The only filters are the LPG ones, which I added in 2020 to save some fuel money. I don't regret doing it.
Small tip for you... You don't need fully unscrew screw (air filter bracket). Bonus tip use cotton air filter... Cotton is more Breathable = more air inside car = more power few hp up. Also you can clean it and reuse. But these paper filters not.
For Clio 3 is available model from K&N 33-2925. It is smaller in height but it is fitted original very well. Price is higher but in long term much better when I compare it with paper filters. They have cleaning kit for it with oil. I ordered it I am going clean it...
There are 4 layers of cotton.. I forgot clean it 4 years lol. I must do it ASAP. Also there are tests with measured numbers on the web. Each filter is tested.

Motorul tau e curat luna, masina e ingrijita exemplar...
Asta am observat si eu, insa se datoreaza faptului ca in ultimul an n-am mai mers cu ea asa de mult. Acum o sa reiau activitatea de sofer si la munca :)) Asa ca o sa fie mai intens folosita masinuta. Oricum nu e bine sa stea. Plus ca acum practic am sub 7000km de la ultimul schimb de ulei. SI filtrul de aer nu era atat de murdar pe cat credeam, dar ii prinde bine schimbul. Am facut azi in graba fiindca maine merg sa-i schimb uleiul \o/. Abia astept. O sa incerc atunci sa cumpar niste scule noi. Multumesc mult. l-am mai sters cu carpa acum dupa ce am pus filtrul de aer :) A trebuit sa mai completez lichidul de frana nitel si putin la antigel. A da si acum 2 zile am bagat maxxmotion 100 de la OMW de 108 lei :)

Sculele nu merita luate decat ce folosesti frecvent....ce folosesti la masina, asigurate ca nu cad prin motor, ca au mecanism de siguranta.... Cel mai bine ii faci masinii cand mergi cu ea....ca si omul, nu e facuta sa stea.... Uleiu inca nu mia venit....astept ca pe ghimpi....parca acum il produc :)))

@@mptraxx5317 Be careful with those. They let more air pass but also more debree and dirt and that will get in the engine. I don't think it'll be ok.

Sculele nu merita luate decat ce folosesti frecvent....ce folosesti la masina, asigurate ca nu cad prin motor, ca au mecanism de siguranta....
Cel mai bine ii faci masinii cand mergi cu ea....ca si omul, nu e facuta sa stea....
Uleiu inca nu mia venit....astept ca pe ghimpi....parca acum il produc :)))

Asa o sa fac. O sa ma uit, desi cred ca am o surubelnita normala mai lunguiata. in schimb din aia torx fixa clar n-am.
Da sincer prefer mersul pe jos prin locuri neaglomerate spre munca decat sa ma sui in masina prin jungla din BV dar asta e acum. Tot raul spre bine :)
Acum lucreaza chimistii la el :))
@@m3rovingian Hmmm...bine faci - cea de 100 e mai aditivata si tine mai curat- teoretic....isi revine, dar nu credeam ca e atat de slaba benzina sau de sensibil motorul....o simte imediat....vagu nu e asa
@@hirayaman246 Eu am vazut la pornire. CU aia de 95 face figuri si nu mai porneste la prima cheie nici chiar vara. iarna am toate sansele sa-mi faca dop de gheata pe instalatie si adio punctualitate :)
Asta e :) Maca noi nu mergem cu bidonul de ulei in portbagaj :)) si nici nu verificam nivelul de parca-r fi Dacia 1300 :))
