Thanks for sharing, I'll be doing my own this year.I get the same with the mayo gunk under the filler cap,it's reassuring to know it's a common fault due to the design of the filler tube, and not the head gasket.
Just about to attempt this and just got a quick question. If I'm using the jacking points wheres a good place to put the jack stands? Mines a slightly older mk3 so not sure if you've got the same layout
Hi. I placed my Jack on the chassis rails. You can see in the front shock video here; m.th-cam.com/video/j659dDGeXJE/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps. All the best 👍
@@vialettotony OK sound. My front shocks are pretty crusty so may need that video in future. BTW I've done the back springs and they've updated those shitty rubber mounts on the bottom, I'm guessing they may have done the same on the front.
Hi Jozef. I believe the fuel filter is located under the car, next to the fuel tank. Not had to do mine yet, so not 100%. Hope that helps, All the best. 👍
Hi. The cars computer will tell you when to change the oil as it will calculate it based on the driving style etc. if you’re not driving it at all, then it will likely be good for a couple of years probably. All the best 👍
@@vialettotony Thanks for the reply and clarification. But what about the default oil life, should I ignore this By the way, I don't think my car has that feature, it's a cheap Renault brand
I have a Renault Wind and it's almost the same setup. I'm going to be sucking my oil out using a pump and I'm hoping that if I remove the driver's side wheel I'll be able to reach the oil filter through the wheel arch.
Hi Joel. Had no issues with this one. A bit of condensation in the oil filler neck which is common, but all good otherwise. Hope that helps. All the best 👍
😂 haha. I know right. I didn’t know what to do with all the spare time I had 😉. Don’t worry though. More Giulietta videos coming in Thursdays at 16:00 as always 👍 Good to hear from you Saleem 👍
Didn't reset the service and when it says oil ok you are meant to press the stalk on the right is will show you the oil level no need to keep pulling the stick out
Unscrew filter a bit, than le it drip, over filter is oil cooler so there is like 0.3l oil, let it drip all an than unscrew it all way. You can pierce filter from bottom 2, and let it drip that way. Sludge on oilfill cap is from condesation, clean oil fume recirculation valves and hoses and sludge will disappear.
Haha. I’ve been meaning to do a short video letting all Alfa followers know that the videos for the G will keep coming in Thursdays at 16:00 as they have been 👍. Sounds like I need to get it done sooner rather than later. Good to hear from you Red Ford. All the best 👍
Thanks for the Clio TCE content! Not so much videos on them
Hi Marvin. Thanks for the comment and watching. Really appreciate it. All the best 👍
great job one thing it is a good idea to put oil in the oil filter before fitting it it helps with the oil circulation when starting
Ні в якому разі не можна це робити. Створюється надмірний тиск оливи.
Very good. All well explained and the video is great. Not like others when it is very shaky. Spot on. Thank you.

Great video. I'll be changing my own oil and filter this year.
Great, you are a natural at teaching, thanks a lot.
Monetising all of the families car services, nice one ;)

Thanks for sharing the knowledge, could you please make a video cleaning MAF and MAP sensors on Clio 3 1.2TCE?

Can you show where you placed the axle stands
I'll look to put a video together to show where if that helps. All the best 👍
Thanx for video, do you know if there is a fuel filter? I bought one, but unfortunately cant find where is located.
Hi Jozef. I believe the fuel filter is located under the car, next to the fuel tank. Not had to do mine yet, so not 100%. Hope that helps, All the best. 👍
What about oil consumption, do you have to top up oil until next oil change?
Hi. No, my oil consumption is good. Been a year now since the change and still all okay. All the best 👍
why.a new sumo nut? old one is just a bolt how will a new one be any better?
Good practice and manufacturers recommendation. All the best 👍
30 newton metres torque. What’s the bolt size for sump plug itself. Thanks.
Hi sorry, can’t recall at the moment. I’m sure Google is your friend. Apologies. All the best 👍
have the same car, same year and engine... are those 1.2 tce reliable?
Hi Antonio. So far so good. Regular maintenance always helps though.
Thanks for watching. All the best 👍
Good video friend...can you tell me where is FUEL FILTER located on this 1.2tce model?
Thanks
Hi Goshini. I believe it’s underneath closer to the fuel tank. Not had to do it yet unfortunately. Hope that helps. All the best 👍
@@vialettotony its not there mate
I want to know
Should I change the engine oil every 12 months, even if the car has not moved, or every 8,000 km, even if this is achieved after years?

30nm? Thats a helluva lot of a torque for a sump plug. Perhaps in-lb?
U should have cleaned the box
Is this a good engine? Some Renault engines can consume oil, what about this engine?

Where is the fuel filter ?
As far as i know it’s behind the wheel arch liner on the front right. You have to remove the liner to access it. All the best 👍
