I first heard Chuck solo on "Chicago" from the Buddy Rich album "The New One". I was 11 years old. Not even playing yet. I've never forgotten it. Not to mention "Diabolus". Thanks for the great interview. Priceless.
Thank you Monk and Chuck! What a joy it is to hear Chuck describe his approach and career of making excellent music! The world is a better place thanks to the fantastic music that Chuck gives us!

Talking about how hard it is to duplicate a Harry Edison... I remember playing the solo on love for sale with a big band and doing my damndest to channel Chuck Findley...
I am surprised that nothing concerning his days with James Last from 2002 until 2015. 1980 he did The Seduction, and then toured with James and his Orchestra. He seemed to be pretty good friends with Bob Coassin. Excellent interview however.
A wonderful interview. Thank you Monk, K.
