I have a Sauber Mercedes C9 from Slot-It. We no longer race that class at club level, so as an experiment I replaced the motor and pod with a 21K NSR King motor. It seems to perform reasonably well with the long can motor, as it spreads the weight further down the chassis. The Group C class of cars all look good, with their low-slung bodies and sports car styling. Stay safe during the snowstorm and God bless you and your family.
Nice job of multitasking. I always blow it if I try to do more than one thing at a time. Those cars do look great. If you leave the magnet in your drone car, you can get better competition. I'm in Texas as well, waiting on the possible slippery driving weather. What part of Texas are you in?
Thanks, I need to set the group c cars up better I just haven't got around to it yet...Lol. I live in Fort Worth and am waiting for the storm of doom to show up too.....Lol
The track sits on a ping-pong table it is 9ft long and 5ft wide. The track overhangs the table a little under 3 inches on each end. The track set I bought was the "Peak Performance" from Carrera Digital 1/32 scale. I added the pit lane and other track sections to arrive at the layout that you see. Note: I used 1/43 track cut down to one lane to bridge between the lane changer that goes to the pit area then added some wood flooring to 1/43 track to fill in to make it wide enough for the 1/32 cars. I hope this helps
