Final boss music back in the days and even now of days are all about jazz heavy metal orchestra and other faster pace and intense music (it works because you know it actually feels like your fighting a final battle) but melancholic final boss music especially with asura's wrath was Soo underated
there are many games who hade some sort of slow music theme like this , i like these theme because really help at creating the image of the final boss as an entity who can be beyond you understanding ,and make you feel that now you've done it
I find it fitting at how somber the song is here. Not only is your opponent the god of everything, responsible for creating the world of Gaea, mantra, and the gohma at his dusturbingly skeletal and deathlike peak, but the player knows one way or another Asura will die at the end... but then you realize this whole journey wasn't for you at all, it was all for the world and Mithra, giving you the strength to push on.
Wounderful "dark reprise" of "in your belief". Totally fitting for a "jerkass God who proclames himself above good and evil". And, even if it is quite "mellow", it's also fitting for one of the most epic boss fights ever seen!
Samsara; Cycle of Death and Rebirth. Chakravartin is the one who spins it. his very appearance at the end was proof of that, armor of life covering death. good and evil are very weak terms if not meaningless when your talking about deities. which by the way Deus and the others were not, they were demigods (part human) who only self-proclaimed themselves full gods. either way, Chakravartin was indeed above good and evil because he was not mortal, and that was never what this conflict was about.
