A study in 2020(?) actually managed to determine that Microraptor Gui was capable of full powered flight but it was determined that it’d be more similar to that of turkeys and pheasants than other birds. A newer study in 2024 discovered a trackway made by a Microraptorine and it was determined that they are a lot more capable on the ground than we anticipated, having been moving faster than a cheetah *relative to body size*. Most likely some form of wing propelled movement. We also have a microraptor specimen that contains bird remains which I think is pretty cool
I found this documentary incredible! It's amazing how science and technology can uncover the true colors of extinct animals. This work is truly fascinating! Don't stop it! 🤩
it's really amazing to see the colors of dinosaurs, I'm almost speechless! the sinosauropteryx seems almost a "cat-saurus" to me (I include that it is really very cute)😍😍! the psittacosaurus, it seems to me a "Wonka-saurus" or an "Oompa Lumpaceratops" = a dinosaur made of chocolate or coffee (perhaps for the carnivores of the time, it was a "dark chocolate prey" for valentine's day)
Y’all are killing it with these beautiful depictions and in fact I saw another channel who used one of you guy’s models tho briefly, I noticed it. So if you haven’t given permission and see this comment than let me know and I’ll say where I saw it (obviously I don’t want to call it out when permission was given😅 and screw them over oss) tho I genuinely hope that it was given cause that kinda sucks otherwise as it’s obvious how hard you guys work over there to set your videos apart with original work 😉👌
Unfortunately, no. Even if it was possible, there are 6 movies(soon to be 7), 2 novels, a bunch of video games, and 2 Netflix series that show why resurrecting dinosaurs would be a bad idea.
When you say "extinct animals", we expect more than just dinosaurs, we know the coloration of Cave Lions, Woolly Rhinos, Platecarpus, Mammoths, Nothrotheriops, etc.
When common people that don't understand paleontology are being told about Dinosaurs, they will always assume a Childish Toy Monster, not an extinct animal sadly. But I understand where you are coming from, yeah we know more about Pleistocene Animals Colors then Mesozoic, mostly because some of the animals are found in permafrost or are easy to figure out what they looked like from close living relatives. But other than that, yeah I would love to see what other extinct animals colors we found.

The pinacosaurus was an absolute unit. And him imitating a car horn was cute.
Beautiful animations.
Peak work.
Also very convient cuz i plan to draw tupandactylus soon
This was such an enjoyable video! Thank you for the beautiful animations!
10:30 POV you are in an ARK
Beautifully done 👏
The 'p' in pterosaur is silent.
Not in all languages.
@@discobolos4227but this isn’t another language now is it?
The Borealopelta fossil is incredibly beautiful. It doesn't even look like a fossil, just like a big sleeping animal.

Please do a Spinosaurus Life video
I feel like there are more than enough dinosaurs with colors we know of that they could possibly make a sequel to this one still amazing BTW
Impressive colors! ❤️❤️❤️
Shall scientists bring them back to life?

I hope you animate Drepanosaurus too
Just subscribed!
Amazing work! 👏💚
personally, "Extinct Visions" sounds like a better title for this documentary, don't you think?
I loved this video.
