    Hi folks. I'm sorry people got lost. This is a *very* advanced tutorial, and much is assumed. I should have mentioned the skill level presumed early in the tutorial, and I will next time. To have created a beginner tutorial to cover all of the required knowledge previous would have taken many hours and was not the intended scope nor the audience. The intended audience were some of the full-time users on Sketchucation.com.
    Thanks for the input.

      +Nor Norranun The little things are components. components are like groups, but when you make an object a component, and copy it several times and make changes on one of these, it will change all of the other components too. if you want to make a component unique, to change it individually, do rightclick and choose "make unique". i hope i could help you.

      Hi chip, did you find it faster and easier to make the tire in sketchup and render it with keyshot vs another 3d program?

    Very nice detailed tutorial sir chipp. which is better keyshot or v-ray for rendering?

    • @ChippWalters
      @ChippWalters  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You pick. Both are excellent. Vray is better for Interiors and keyshot better at product shots.

      @@ChippWalters Ah, no problem. Is there any other application you have designed a tire on?

    way too fast buddy, try slowing down and actually describing what you are doing otherwise what exactly is the point of this?

      +Clive Me ditto. Like on crank. Resonance in the room muddys the dialog too, notwithstanding a low, scratchy voice. Made this video unintelligible.

      +Martin Walters Agreed, its supposed to be a 'How to' video but I tuned out and looked elsewhere for a better teacher.

      Yes, I got lost too. Didn't explain step by step how he did things. Just did them. I'm new to this so I couldn't keep up with him.
