Congratulations for your acquisition! I vote for Earthshaker first because it’s in worst condition as seeing the restoration is great for ppl like me to learn a lot! Also a new playfield is expensive but immediately motivates the completion of the job, it’s an awesome feeling comparing how it was to how is shinning and new! Cool project!
I guess the question comes down to how much time and money needs to be put in to Earthshaker vs. Dr. Who compared to ultimate sale value once they are restored? Or, if you plan to keep the completed project which game would you rather have in your collection? I think I would lean toward Earthshaker but I don't have much knowledge on Dr. Who (or the theme itself). Good job getting this one back to almost 100% that quick! Interested to know how the story ends.
Hi Cary, these kind of videos are my favorite! Now ES is one of the best system 11 pins, are you into system 11 then it’s a great choice. Dr. Who is a classic, very underrated DMD pin, both very enjoyable pins to play. When you someday are gonna sell/trade you’ll get more for Dr. Who so money wise it will make more sense, but if you ask me… I would go for ES all day long, love that pin. When you are done with ES put a whirlwind next to it and you have yourself an amazing 1-2 system 11 setup😊 Good luck with the build
Cant wait to see the progress! At first i thought no way it was going to be in any decent shape but it wasnt as bad as i first thought. As for next resto, id consider which game you like more or if you plan on flipping any which one would be more worth your time and return on investment.
Congrats buddy! Great game! As for the shaker motor you can buy just a regular dc motor brushes with approximately the same shape and size from your local diy store and solder them instead of the old ones. That’s what I did for my ES.
Do this one! I am very interested in seeing how you restore the cabinet and the playfield. I have a similar issue: I've got a fully functional lethal weapon 3 but the cabinet is pretty beaten and the playfield is missing art (although with the shitty art this game has, is maybe for the best)
Love all your videos . Would like to see how you decide how much money to put into a pin before you stop and loose money . I know prices are high on pins right now. Earthshaker not a high sort after pin. Know depends on the price you bought it for. But would love to see a future video on how you figure that out.

I just put a ES on location in a bowling alley on second floor last week. I keep it as a 50 cent machine because I know the durability of Williams still isn't matched. Just a fun game.

That game looked to be in such a bad shape, that I would love to see what you do to restore it. Please do this game. (I also really dislike the backglass on Doctor Who. Passed on buying it once, for that reason alone). Keep up the good work,it is really helping us out to watch your restoration videos.
