@@jobvermuyen5382 he was referring to the Exalted Hero of Tzeentch, not the Cultist of Nurgle. but yeah, i think Nurgle hero should beat out Tzeentch despite the better mount.
Exalted Hero of Tzeentch and no Exalted Hero of Nurgle? The Nurgle ones I feel are greater in terms of holding the frontline, and even pushing the frontline forward. The Tzeentch one has a fast mount, that's pretty much all they got over Nurgle, and that's not really much compared to the other stats and how the Exalted Hero of Tzeentch will probably get a nerf soon.
Tzeenchian hero has a passive ability to boost the reacharge rate of Barrier for all units in his army which is useful for literally ANY Tzeenchian army. Build-in magical attacks are always a win and also, anti-large is super useful in endgame because pretty much everything is on some mount and you will see a lot more expensive mostrous units on field.
For me one of these could be replaced with the Skaven pack master. They are pretty unique with the sheer number of extra bodies the bring to battle with 2 uses of both a normal and poison wolf rat summon plus pretty good on their brood horror and buffing the monsters of the Skaven roster.
Hunter on stonehorn is OP. That much mass moving that fast (especially when micro-ing its charge animations) can literally steamroll entire armies with basically no threat to itself. Equip the right items to him and have a butcher on standby to heal him and you can make him into an unkillable, uncatchable, and unstoppable bulldozer.
Exalted hero of nurgle should have top 1 easily lol. Massive healing potential, an infantry shredder, very tanky, fast on charriot and can deal big blows to lord/single entity
A buddy of mine, Diresquatch, ended up in a situation where he was playing a vampire counts army. he got nearly wiped out in one battle and in the next on next turn had only a vampire hero, a generic vampire lord, and 5 units of graveguards against a full 20 stack of mid game empire units. I watched bro play the whole battle and just the generic Vampire lord and vampire hero literally soloed the whole stack cause his graveguards got wiped out quick. I watched the battle as he played it and I'm still confused about how he pulled that off. I learned after that, NEVER underestimate generic heroes or lords.
For the vampire counts all their units suck. They are just extra bodies for the lords and hero’s. Vampire magic is easily tied with Life magic for the number 1 lore of magic in the game. When I play them I don’t even bother with elite units only basic skeletons or zombies. You can use more armies and they won’t preform much worse.
I agree, nothing is more fun than the classic Zombie Apocalypses Strat. I've only here recently started using Corps carts and Jesus Christ are they op for what they are. My favorite so far being balefire for its buffs. I do sometimes go with a Graveguard army backed by black knights to hammer n anvil or an army that's half ghouls half crypt horrors for a "Fuck your lines I am breaking them" army build. but at the end of the day swarms of zombies, basic skeletons, and corpse carts are a seriously OP strategy.
I think you should separate the list into casters and melee specialists. They play different parts on the battle field. And, like many mentioned, I feel exalted hero of Nurgle outperforms that of Tzeentch. Do you really test and compare them?
Non overcasted is better against armor. Non overcasted is 100% armor piercing and overcasted is 33%. So in this case non overcasted is better against the greatswords
As much as I hate high elves and elves in general I have a lot of respect for the high elves' fire mages They are ridiculous, Just ridiculous Having access to sun dragons and a massively OP trait that makes their stats double not to mention their destructive lore of magic I am shocked that there is no mention of them here Also talking about heroes and not mentioning any of the Skaven heroes is a crime The warlock engineer outpowers the dwarf master engineer by miles He has magic and one of the most annoying ones that gives him access to warp lightening and other destructive spells that ruins any blob easily honestly how many times you came across a situation where your warlock engineers in your garrisons saved your ass just by the shear power of their spells? For me, it was millions of times Also, chieftains have a great mount and they give their accompanying lord 5% flat ward save each and plague priests with their summons can save your fire line for ages and your pack masters are the most powerful and most useful utility/fighter heroes of all time They can sweep across the battlefield in no time thanks to their super fast great mounts and can summon wolf rats for dealing with skirmishers and keep your monster squad safe from their range attacks They provide passive healing for your monsters Oh man I am mad at this list Also because I don't have access to WH3 I can't say anything about WH3 heroes but the only heroes on this list that I think is fare to bring here are Skink preists and Gorebulls
@@BarneyTheDinosaur99 Yeah that's it Imagine the stats you have on top of a dragon get doubled I am talking about 900+ weapon strength Honestly this trait make them a joke that is not even fun anymore
Kind if suprised by the lack of skink oracle. They are arguably better fighters than stego mounted priests while also being faster and having access to healing. I can see you arguing against them due to how hard it is to get hero capacity for them (and access) but if thats not a criteria then i think they are the better lizard heroes.
From my personal experience of using AND fighting against, the exalted hero of nurgle is WAY better and more annoying to deal with than the tzeentch variant.
I feel like more context should have been given to how impactful each hero is to their faction. For example, plague priests are integral to Skaven arguably most powerful army compositions. Skaven would be much much weaker without them. The new Tzeench hero while good does not feel nearly as impactful in my tzeench campaign as plague priests do in skaven campaigns
These lists get weirder and weirder. Dwarf engineer??? No HE fire mage on a dragon with the op melee trait? He fucks 90% of lords and half an army. The skaven warlock engineer is so damn strong with ligthning and that damn mount. Skinks are great, but saurus oldblood is also incredible. Btw why do you have such a hardon for necromancers? They are so easy to kill in 100 ways. When in your top 10 lords list (despite the vampires being straight up better). Flying elven mages can solo entire armies (especially the fire mage who can outduel the generic lords with high buff spell even without the dmg trait) Remember you didnt even put the HE archmage on moon dragon in your top10 generic lords list...which is mind boggling.
exalted hero of nugle is def way better. better at fighting on the front lines, they have aoe healing you can get, but by far the most broken part is their upgrade to reduce all enemies armor by 10 in a region and it stacks, so you could effectively get entire enemy armies at literally 0 armor for every unit they have... def better then the tzeetch exalted hero
Great list mate. I feel like the Vampire heroes might have been there as well, but even more than them, the Skaven heroes (Packmaster and Plague Priest especially) also are quite OP in my opinion
The vampire hero is better than the necromancer and where is the Skaven plague priest and why so much melee heroes they are worst than magic heroes 100%, when you build the right army.
I find myself clicking on them just to see the insane opinions and the comments shitting on them. Unfortunately that means I'm still providing engagement. Oh well. Not everyone will be as knowledgeable as Legend I suppose. It does make me want to make my own videos too. Sheesh

For real

yes
