no joke, this is the best Ken guide ive seen on youtube, youre examples are so easy to replicate and the way you answered all of the questions i had lmao. Youre a god
Having a hard time erasing what I know about Ken from SFV but this is just growing pains. Reminds me of when I had to learn Reptile in MKX after playing him in 9 for years. Phenomenal guide, my man. Creators like you are the unsung heroes of the FGC.
Great video dude. I’m a 3S player and just pivoted to SF6 a week ago after the Jazzy Finale and hit Diamond with Ken last night. This is a great guide for learning/remembering the key foundations of his gameplay to focus on.
great vids man, making guides for the characters i like the most so super helpful! we want it all man, combo vids, vod reviews. anything you are thinking of sending out just do it man. we are here for it
One thing I love to do to get in when just outside of mid screen, you can throw out a light hadouken and then follow up with a drive rush into heavy punch. It completely freaks out the opponent because they don’t expect you to get in so close so fast, then from there you can do so many things.
Awesome video, got rid of most of my questions about ken, i have been having trouble about what to press on pressure but it seems like we want to be spaced and not in our opponents face, i have lots to learn and i would like to see some matches of your ken and luke.
Helpful tips, but 1 word of advice. For a lot of the older players such as myself. When describing the moves and combos, can you use basic language? For example, instead of saying just dp for -6, can you just break it down like down and forward kick, out crouch and heavy punch. Some of us aren't hip to the sf6 lingo and abbreviations, but general commands are very helpful. But again, loved the video and got some helpful info out of it.
Thanks for the vid, your short combos (can’t do long combos because of my memory loss) are a big help and they do pretty good damage and your tips of when getting your opponent into the corner and keeping the there and applying pressure is going to help me a lot (seems like when I get caught in the corner with juri and cammy I have a hard time escaping….lol). 😎✌🏾👊🏾🔥 Subscribed. 🥋
Kinda be trying to avoid Ken but cannot win with no else. Everyone else seems to be a try hard. I can naturally flow with him. But this guide def helped. Good looking 🎉
Ken has been my guy since launch. I did not know he can do most of the stuff you just showed. I'm clearly playing him wrong. Another reason why I'm stuck on silver.
Any tips for getting the slight delay on Jinrai Kick loops? I've been practicing for the optimal corner combo but I get the the lk hit 1 out of 7 times 😅
Great Video and thank you! First time I really am taking street fighter seriously and its quite a difficult game. Just a heads up though. Your combo with standing light kick - Drive Rush - CrMP- Chin Buster - DP is not a true combo. Standing Light kick gives equal frames so the opponent can block. If you do a CrMK, you get plus 2 frames turning it into a true combo. My friend taught me how to test this stuff with opponent block after first strike. Also you must have advanced frames to do a true combo. Im going to check if there is other moves I can drive rush into that combo. I like it.
Is there different ways to activate the drive rush in? Im a noob so the only way i activate it is by hitting the opponet with a normal attack first and then pressing Mk/Mp at the same time...
ive been practicing that wicked corner carry all the way across the stage. I got it mostly down, but when I do drive parry ->-> MP. I cant get the drive rush to come out fast enough. This is been a long time since this video, do you think they nerfed that? (Im talking about the second half of it the brings across the rest of the stage.
im confused as to the use of his run cancels in combos, at most they add 1-2 percent and they just add more potential for a drop. I really think they need a little more damage.
It gives you more damage plus run dragonlash makes it easy to confirm into any of your supers. So you can mp hp target combo > running dragonlash > any super. Definitely worth learning.
no joke, this is the best Ken guide ive seen on youtube, youre examples are so easy to replicate and the way you answered all of the questions i had lmao. Youre a god
This is easily the best guide i’ve seen on SF6 so far. Hoping to get to your level with Ken, but keep up the videos. This was amazing

5:02 that corner to corner was crazy

Learning Ken was tricky but this vid helped a lot. Thanks k7!!

wakeup ex dragon punch should work well enough
I was actually thinking wakeup CA but you do you noob ken
Both of you go back to sf4
I'm having the hardest time breaking my sf4 habits/ block strings😅
Thanks for a great video very very helpful, finally taught me how to make the most out of my shimmy punishes!
This was much needed I'm getting back on street fighter and I have been playing ken heavy
Great video this my first time playing sf ever and you helped me understand ken fully appreciate that. I would love to see the matchup guide come next
everything you said you want to do in the next videos. do them all. all good ideas. especially analysis
8:00 great explanation here
Definitely do a matchup guide with Ken. For his harder matchups/even

This was good stuff dude
Glad you enjoyed it man.
The corner carry combo for those curious:
cLP, MP-HP XX DR cMP XX KK tatsu, DR MP XX KK tatsu
Ken has been my guy since launch. I did not know he can do most of the stuff you just showed. I'm clearly playing him wrong. Another reason why I'm stuck on silver.
great vid, learned alot from this
Great video
Game play analysis would be sick!
Nice video, i am keen to try ken when i get my hands on this game
A match up guide for Ken would be awesome man, please ;)
Thanks for this sir awesome stuff
Great video mate thanks :) +1 sub
Nice video!
Thanks!
Gameplay recaps from Marisa or a Cammy guide would be lit
Any tips for getting the slight delay on Jinrai Kick loops? I've been practicing for the optimal corner combo but I get the the lk hit 1 out of 7 times 😅
Thanks a lot, your videos are the best!
What is your preferred controller? Or do you use a stick/hit box?
I use a Victrix BFG Pro controller. I used to play with both PS4 & PS5 controllers, you can’t go wrong with any of it.

i will be there - me on k7 videos
Would like a ken matchup video. I'm having trouble with Honda and its really lame
Having trouble doing run combos after counter hit heavy kick
Try breaking up the combo into pieces to and then putting it all together when the inputs are muscle memory to you

Need more Ken videos
sick vid 🙏🙏
New sub👍🏽

They add corner carry
Crazy informative!
How do you get this white hair color for ken i want this so much but i cant buy it in the shop
I love Ken but I love you more bro mwah
You real bro i been getting smacked since i hit plat 😭😭😭
Yo i have trouble fighting ken. Know your enemies boys.
K are you gonna do a juri vid?
Thinking about it, I want to give her an honest try before making one to make sure I can give a really good guide
Haven't even watched it yet but know I'm using every fuckin thing in here lol
Update: This shit was fire and very straightforward great guide
How do you get them color on that ken skin?
Great guide! If you can, I think giving some matchup tips, like you did with JP, would be awesome. Earned a sub from me :)
What are the benefits of Run Cancel on Ken? I was able to do most of these combos without it
it’s more of a flashy look but it barely gives you more damage so if it’s difficult then you can go without it.
It gives you more damage plus run dragonlash makes it easy to confirm into any of your supers. So you can mp hp target combo > running dragonlash > any super. Definitely worth learning.
how do you do the cross screen tatsu, whenever i tatsu i go into the air
ex tatsu*
Run (press 2 kick buttons simultaneously) then tatsu= flaming cross screen tatsu. (I think that's what your asking).
Guile pls guide charge combo setup
Where the ken class held I need it
Check out my Metafy! I do lessons. metafy.gg/@K7_Showoff
23:18 yes I’d watch. I pretty much learn fighting games by stealing strats from vids like that haha
Let’s practice I could use some help
didnt know about lights into medium tatsu then dp. gross.
You can even do it off of bigger buttons. It's a range dependent thing so any button into light tatsu still works
