I brought my brother to surprise and propose to his then girlfriend. When I picked him up right when he got in my car this song started playing. Seemed so poetic and perfect for the moment. I ended my best man speech at their wedding with “May everyday from here on out be your best day ever.”

This is my favourite Mac song. It makes me happy and sad. RIP. I was lucky enough to watch him live in London on his first visit across the pond in 2010ish. It was such a fun show. I Threw 8 and Loud are also great records

This is my favorite Max song, before I really got into him I remember this playing on my moms phone while she was doing her makeup, getting ready for work. I was laying under the dining table looking at the wood stains and I’ll just never forget that experience. This is the first song i play on my birthday every year.

The video was shot in Front of 'Taylor Allderdice High School' in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Squirrel Hill is a diverse community and home to the city's largest Jewish population. Allderdice High School is also where Wiz Khalifa attended and birthed 'The Taylor Gang'. Great review gentleman!!
Mac miller is one of my favorite artists ever, he just knew how to relate to so many people. Also i couldnt help but notice the Screw Tape poster, love from Houston🙌‼️
I'm right there with you about this being a song from my formative years. And it is crazy the lyrics in a vacuum this could be seen as the most outright positive wholesome chorus in a rap song and now it is genuinely hard not to tear up to it. Crazy to think that in no more than a decade, Mac went from that kind of outlook to doing hard drugs to escape reality and it ultimately taking him far too soon. But in a way, I don't think he ever lost this outlook which makes it bittersweet, "No matter where life takes me find me with a smile. Pursuit to be happy, only laughing like a child." Everyone who knew Mac personally says he was such a pleasant person to be around and always spread joy and positivity even when he was personally battling a lot of demons.

2011! I was a sophmore in high school watching Mac and MGK come up at the same time. It was amazing times for real. The music from then was just a different feeling for those few years. I'd love for you to show some old stuff of MGKs like chip off the block and stuff.

first off, love the Japan kit. secondly, Best Day Ever the album) had a choke hold on me in high school, just playing front to back, back to front. i know it inside and out. it had a great balance of catchy songs and ones that were just easy going. i prefer the "bonus" version of BDE just because it is a bit more mellow and you can really just hear Mac talking. also you're dad isn't "wrong" on the M&M guess haha

He got one of most original and creative discographies in all hip hop, though provoking at the same time funny attiutude and amazing concepts of the songs. Aesop got tedency to get really esoteric and cryptic, specially in the beginning of his career,so for start i will sugest something maybe from his newer stuff maybe of his masterpiece album "Impossible Kid" . Ahh miss teen mac when he used to come to the female steelers games back in Pittsburgh. He was cool asf and always humble. He’d do a drive-by every other thanksgiving or so at my grandma’s and grab some food and play us some music or show us pictures of what he was working on. RIP Malcolm. Funnily enough, I never knew his real name until he was famous cause i was a kiddo when he came around.

He was a gifted musician and i wonder what treasures he would have kept producing . I delved into his discography and I can sincerely and Unbiasedly say Listen to his Discography in Chronological Order. It will paint the full picture of his growth(Musically and Emotionally) i rarely recommend listening to any artists catalog this way but he Definitely Merits It
