Best Money Clip Review

- In order to get the perfect money clip for me I had it custom made out of extra gold rings I had laying around. The result is a heavy 1.126 oz simple and elegant design that holds 20 USA bills very tightly in place. The extra weight also helps keep it deep in my pocket. Bert at Gold Thumb Jewelry Creations in Frederick, Maryland made the gold money clip. www.goldthumbje... - I also show s Sterling silver money clip I bought many years ago at Tiffany & Company in New York.
Note: Steve at Little Treasury can also make a custom 14k gold money clip for $2,500. www.littletreas...
EDC item.
"you can take some gold that's lying around your house"
Cameron Hamson yeah sure, let's do that
I stack gold as an investment
And collect broken jewelry
I have some gold laying around
Way to oust yourself ronnie 😂
Back in the 1980s I used a brass money clip to carry my cash but they sort of became redundant by the 1990s because of plastic cards but the modern version of the money clip is a ridge or ridge style wallet that allows you to carry them both together
I like keeping the cash separate. That way I don't need to always pull out my wallet. I also keep some loose bills next to the money clip in my pocket for tips so I don't need to show the money clip all the time.
Nice review. I've thought about using a money clip, but I'm satisfied with my minimalist wallet at the moment.
***** Thanks for the reply. I think I would enjoy pairing a clip with my small wallet, but I'm still concerned about running out of pockets, as I don't like to carry things in my rear pockets. Of course, if I'm wearing a jacket some items can go in jacket pockets, but I fear losing items if I were to lose a jacket. I've never lost one, but it could happen.
He's just showing off now
I geek out every time I hear the word expose(d) and
this guys' tone killed me LMAOO
It's all good> www.craigshipp.com/grandseiko
That's a nice gold clip! However I suggest you use the sterling silver clip instead...it is cheaper and will be less of a dent to your wallet if you loose it...also love the Rolex! Hope to see more from you :)
Five years later and my money clip is still going strong! Https://www.craigshipp.com/grandseiko
As soon as you took out the Rolex and put it next to the money clip, I was hypnotised by the gold and the cash.
Love the watch, money clip combo. Great look. Thanks for the video
Sure thing!
I remember that an uncle of mine always showed off the clip he had attached to the inside pocket of his old dusty jacket so he can get away with pawning his silver money clip without having the fear of being pick pocketed.
lol damn expensive i knew it was a real rolex, it pisses me off when someone trys to tell someone they got something fake just cuz they cant afford it
realerik123 Why does that bother you? 😂
I know who I'm gonna rob...
Haha
***** good on you Craig
Jacob Jones lol hahaha funny
I made a joke referring to Mr. Shipp flaunty money around, not even insulting anyone at all but you all feel the need to be childish and taunt someone over the internet regardless? And yes Mr. Shipp, you and your friends all have me pissing in my boots. Sorry I offended you apparently, but by your behavior, you're all mentally barely matured past a sperm, so I don't feel at all at blame for you taking what I say to offense.
***** your friends? not you. your friends? thats pathetic. fight your own battles. Deathmetal Bob that was a funny joke
My money clip is a light steel i believe and it has racing horses on the front. Its also gold colour
Nice Review Dude great work. :D I have a Paul Smith Black Leather wallet with Mini Design inside and I love it but I do like the idea of a money clip I've used one a few times but it was when I was wearing my suit so I didn't balk out my pockets but if I'm just wearing chinos or shorts which I do most of the time I just have my wallet in my pocket. Happy Holidays Dude.
First time ever and I bought myself a simplycarbonfiber money clip, I really love it, LOL it's better than rubber bands, I just wanted to ask you did the gold and the silver warp over the years or did they always clamp back to their original strength oh, I have the carbon fiber for only about three weeks with 20 bills and when I take them out of clams back with a lot of pressure same as when it was new, what would you say is the best money clip?? Thanks and very nice video, have a great summer sincerely mr. Marcus
My gold clip holds up great. The silver one I had was too thin and was not as strong. Your carbon fiber one should hold up ok. For me I like the weight of the gold clip.
Nice video, by the way Tiffany money clips retail for around $ 200 now a days
Won’t Gold, Silver magnetize and mess-up credit cards if you pack cash & credit card?
The CCs are in my wallet. The money clip is in a different pocket.
No, gold and silver are non-ferrous metals and won’t magnetise at all
Which Reference is this Day-Date?? Looks gorgeous👍🏼

it's very strong, seems like someone has no idea about the specific density of gold
Always keep the small Bill's showing!! Cuz someone will lump ya someday!! Showing 100s
Not the places I go. Plus I have excellent security! www.craigshipp.com/grandseiko
@@MidAtlanticTV yeah same here ME!! And my 9mm.
Me too and I believe it's a lot better too I just wish I could afford to make a money clip out of 18 karat gold LOL but the truth is that if I can afford it I would have it anyways I'm really enjoying my Carbon Fiber One at least something keeps my money in order thanks for the feedback and have a great summer sincerely mr. Marcus
Carbon Fiber is actually a great option. By the way mine is 14k gold. That's a better option for a money clip than 18k.
How many bills will it hold, I’m carrying large loads
I think I mentioned it in the video. At least 25
How do you tighten the clip when it gets a little stretched? I have a Tiffany that’s stretched a bit.
I had it made thick enough so that it does not stretch out. I’ve been using it for about 30 years now and no issues. The sterling silver one that I had from Tiffany and Company it would stretch out. It wasn’t nearly as thick.
Thanks. Were you able fix the Tiffany one?
@@jtinero it still works. Just not great tension on the bills. I carry the gold one most of the time. It works great.
i would look boss with my cheap suit, get it
I use a silver clip with 14k gold letters(my initials)
Nice.
That’s really nice!
I'm sorry that makes a lot of sense I would make it with 14/ carrots also, I imagine it would make it a lot stronger to hold all that money!!! That's actually my first choice and you have really nice taste oh, it's only my first money clip so I guess a $50 investment is not too bad, but thanks for the compliment I really like my clip and you know what I mean oh, it's kind of like a fidget for us adults oh, I got a lot of negative feedback because of the clip I think if something makes you happy it doesn't matter if you spend a couple of dollars for yourself, anyways thank you for your sincere kind words and like I said have a great summer and enjoy your wonderful looking toy, I'm definitely getting one when I give this one away probably for my son have a great summer, mr. Marcus
I wish you, too, a great summer!
Cool idea, how much did the jeweler charge you to make it?
***** How much gold(weight) did you send them to get back a clip just over an ounce?, was there any waste? did they decide the weight?
how do you get your notes to look so clean and bright?
***** oh ok thanks for the reply and I can't stop watching this video for some reason
Guy loves being rich!
Used a wallet my whole till i got a money clip its pretty cool i just would like some advice.. When paying is there a way i can select the money i need without fucking everything up??
Or am i meant to take the clip out entirely everytime i need cash. Help pls . Ty
Craig Shipp cheers for the reply mate, i dno how that would work for me. Got my cards and my keys and my vape/ciggies . Such inconvenience but i hope to use money clips smoothly one day.
Have two sets 1st set with ones and fives and the other with hundreds. You can fit both sets in the clip. So when u paying for anything $25 & below use the short set. anything above use the long set
I’m going to buy a gold bar just to make this
Money clip all the way
boss
For sure.
Nooo! The bills are inserted with the front of them outwards not facing in - and you carry the smaller bills towards the outside and the larger ones inside. So many wrong things here.
At least you clipped over the folded edge..
Works for me!
But anyway nice video I liked it I use a silver money clip with black leather facing on the flat ended side I love it. I lost a 20 dollar bill 1 day and it was not my first encounter of losing decently sized bills. My last bill I lost, was dark that evening and was a nice crisp, new Ulysses S. Grant 50 and I spent probably 30 minutes looking coming up empty. Since then I got myself a sexy looking clip and never have I lost money since. Yes that's right kiss the cheeks. both of em. they stink most likely
Yes the money clip should be heavy and strong!
Make America Great Again
Evidently you dont hang out in da hood...🤣
Correct www.craigshipp.com/grandseiko
U clip them sideways btw..
I find it holds the bills better the way I showed it. For a great watch also see www.craigshipp.com/grandseiko
You say you don't like to keep money in your wallet and would rather use a money clip. I don't understand. If you keep the money in your wallet you don't have to flash what you've got in your wallet and can count it without taking it out. with a money clip however you have to pull it out and remove the money from it to count and everybody see you doing that. Lots of thieves out there just checking you out when you flash not only the clip but a gold one. Crooks know how much gold is worth believe me and might roll you just for the clip itself. I say all this because my kids bought me a Tiffany clip last father's day and i gave it a try and watched people around me and decided it was safer to just use my wallet. I do like the clip though.
Craig Shipp because you keep your money clip, with the magazine clip right? Lol!!!
There are things that are more valuable than money these days. Namely, your identity. Id and credit cards are usually carried in wallets as well, and a thief could gleam them for info. If you are robbed you can throw down the clip and flee. If it's the money he's after he will let you go as he picks up the doe.
No,not titanium not not any moneyclip is not popular
Of course this guy has a gold money clip and Rolex President - he’s a wizard!- YOU SEE THOSE LONG ASS FINGER NAILS?! Needs to take some of that money and get a damn manicure! Especially before putting a video on TH-cam!
Good point!
I lost a louis vuitton money clip a client from the hotel i work gave me im so mad lol
The silver goes for $250.+ in 2022
Yep no doubt.
I like doors
I dont carry a money clip... that way it matches my Rolex
I’m sure he can get away from robbers by easily climbing a tree with those “claw like fingernails”.
So if your money clip has no money and its gold you can trade it for money hehehe. Money clips is cool.
Correct. www.craigshipp.com/Bitcoin
I have a better idea. Instead of spending 10 or 20 dollars on a money clip wallet, just rubber band all of your credit cards and cash together. Extremely cheap solution, and you don't have to spend 10 or 20 bucks on a money clip wallet. Sound famililar?
***** you need help
***** lol I need some money so I can buy one
***** let me hold $30 i'll pay you back cuz
***** ok can you send $4300 TO MY PAYPAL account ?
Yeah because a rubber band is really classy... if you can afford a gold money clip why not, it looks great with the rolex. I think k this video has convinced me to get one as I can afford it and I'm not a cheap skate like someone here...
Where do you live? I'm bout to rob you 😂
Craig Shipp lol 😂, you probably carry a golden desert eagle with a diamond trigger or something 😂
It is haram for men to wear gold
With all that cash.... Get a mani for gods sake!
I can do your mani for yah lol!!!
Wallets are for farmers. The cool guys carry their hundreds in a money clip. ;-).
Dude what world you live in? Its all plastic digital now!
no
Asad lion You are talking absolute tosh. Cash is king, unfortunately today most people spend beyond their means and put purchases on the tick (credit card) and don't actually have the cash. People with real money/wealth always carry a decent amount of cash. Cash has many benefits, the biggest being that you generally can obtain better discounts on purchases (goods and services).
Cool gold clip but fake rolex bro come man
