Hi Katelyn, I admit to feeling sorry to see the cute fox stamp go but I thought you did a great job working through your stamps and being so practical about it all. You have donated some really good stamps which others will be able to enjoy using. I don’t have many wooden-backed stamps and despite your great 👍🏻 series on ways to use our stamps last year, I still haven’t started using mine. I think 🤔 my best bet is to get some scrap paper and practice until I feel confident to use them on layouts etc. it will also assist me to decide which ones I will realistically use. They have been passed on to me or I have bought them secondhand and then just put them in a drawer. Time to commit or purge! I know I am way behind with your videos and know you have done a lot more sorting out and clearing. I hope it is all going well for you. Best Wishes, Rebecca
I started with stamping up years ago and finally became a demonstrator for the discount. I have gotten rid of most of my wood mount sets, but I have hundreds of sets you mount on clear blocks and photopolymer stamps. I went through my sets last spring and will have to do that again. I’m no longer a demonstrator, so I don’t have to buy anything anymore. I make lots of cards, and I use stamps to make embellishments for scrapping. Thanks for inspiring me to go through my supplies to either use some old stuff, or pass it on.
Yeah I haven't gone through my clear stamps yet, but I don't think I will part with nearly as many! It's nice when you are able to give them to a person or place that will give them a loving home! Thanks for watching, Susan!
My daughter in law went to a yard sale and paid the lady $10 for ALL her stamps. So my husband put little shelves around the perimeter of my craft room and I displayed them all. I liked it a lot for a couple of years, until I realized they were too much trouble to reach, and too hard to dust the shelf. Now as I go thru them I have to admit that many just aren't my style. I am trying to simplify my life, so the shelves must come down, the stamps I keep will go in flat bins in the closet where I can stack them, and the rest will go to charity. Whew!
Yes, a deal like that was nice to have! But I'm happy you are ready to let go of some and use what you really love!! It's a tough process, but worth it in the end. Thanks for watching!
You are doing an amazing job at the purge my friend. I retire for good in about 1.5 years and will likely downsize ... so I think I should start purging now LOL :) xo
That’s a good size purge of stamps and I think you went thru them reasonably. Question do you like elephants ? It just seemed like the kept popping up. 😅 you can still stamp that elephant on the backs of birthday cards 🤷🏻♀️ then that will ensure that he gets a good use as well. 😉 anyways it’ll be good for them to go somewhere where you know someone will use them! and it’s true that will be less for you to carry!
I have many, many wood stamps and I MUST purge them - how do I start? So much money that I give away....remember this for the next time you go shopping!!!
Donating everything is a great way to give it another chance at life. I love that you’re doing this. TFS
Exactly! Thanks for watching!

Good job! Love seeing your thought process.
Thanks, Julie!

Thanks for your kind words, Moira! Getting started early isn't a terrible idea, lol!!

Thanks, Daisy! I think elephants are fun, not my absolute fave or anything, but they are magnificent!

Yup, definitely a firm reminder for next time! Starting small helps!
I have one rubber unmounted stamp but other than that I just have the clear stamps.
I have less than half of my block stamps left, and it felt good to re-home them. So what's next. lol :)
Yes, that's so great!
I've removed some of them from the block and made them into "unmounted" stamps.
Yes, I haven't tried that myself, but I know those with larger collections do it to save space - a great idea! Thanks for watching!
