Went this month. As a guy, wore the same pair of thermals, underpants, socks (felt muddy end of the trek😣), trouser, fleece and wind/water proof jacket. Also carried a waterproof over trousers. Also carried a thick woolly hat, normal sun hat, a woolly neck gaiter and normal buff, and an extra pair of underwear and trousers, fleece joggers to sleep in. Did not use my sleeping bag as felt like too much effort to pack in the morning. Got an extra blanket free of cost at the tea houses as I guess it was off-season. Paid extra twice to have a hot shower. Benefit of having dal bhaat at the tea houses is that you get extra helpings at no extra cost as I guess they cook lots of it as it’s the normal daily food for the locals.
Hard to say I'm afraid. We transferred clothes into a bag carried by a porter. We saw many people doing it themselves with about a 60l backpack. It will mostly be changes in clothes (so depends on how clean you want to be!) and sleeping bag, so items wont be too heavy. Wishing you the best.
Great tip about the pack!
