I love everything about this video. The books, the walks, the decorating, all of it.
I live on the West Coast of Scotland and have a walk that my daughter and I call our Twilight trees walk, every time we go there have the soundtrack in our heads and have a laugh to ourselves reciting our favourite cringey Twilight lines, it always cheers me up. I also like to add a different ornament each year to my tree, it always brings back memories each year and is definitely part of our Christmas traditions. I do however have a tiny Christmas sock that I bought years ago and told my oldest daughter once when she was little that it was hers as a baby (no idea why I did this!) to this day she still likes to put “her baby sock” on the tree. She’s 24 and I know now I’m going to have to lie about this for the rest of my life 😂 Even my youngest daughter knows it wasn’t hers but everyone is sworn to secrecy 😂😂😂
That nature walk looked absolutely breathtakingly beautiful at the beginning of the vlog. Scotland truly is a magical place. I've currently finished reading The Dark between the trees and am now currently torn between The Atlas Paradox and Slewfoot 🎄

🎄 I love nature walks so much too, I think it satisfies my itch to be more connected to how things change with the seasons and feeling a sense of 'place' if that makes sense. Like it's grounding to see autumn trees and get swept up in the vibes. But anyway those views were amazing!!
Just finished a book called the Goblin Emperor (so good) and now reading Hollowpox because middlegrade is exactly the cosiness I need for xmas :D

🎄🎄Hello lovely, Just catching up with the vlogs. As i'v said before i'm not a reader so i do feel a little bit of an imposter with you literary lot. I come to your channel for your company and the very cosy aesthetic you bring. I loved this vlog as it was so homey and cosy especially now you have decorated for xmas. I was loving the new garland over the fireplace. Very much looking forward to more Vlogmas videos. Regarding the trip, i'm always in awe of people who travel alone. It takes great guts to do that especially long haul. I'v never travelled solo and i dont think i would either as i love to have company. Hats off to you for doing this adventure. All the times that I've stopped at House of Bruar on the way up to Inverness, and I've never checked out the Falls of Bruar, which look like they're just a short way up that B road. After seeing your video I am inspired to do this next time I swing by up there. Also, I love that little hedgehog Christmas tree ornament!🎄

Not strange at all! 🤎 generally most of my jumpers are from Slush Vintage, and my long skirts will be from Portobello Vintage for the most part! I tend to search for very specific items and see what random stores come up, or Depop!
