2021 visuals look the most realistic. Most tornadoes start out with a ragged translucent funnel. The visible rope phase occurs near the end when there is a dry RFD occlusion.
I will agree, it did have a super rocky start but it is also the day of release with bugs to be expected so I completely understand the disappointment. One thing I mention though is that you just got super unlucky with the scenario system. The game does use real world weather data from past events and recreates them in the game, you just got unlucky and got the same one in a row. there are only a hand full of scenarios right now but it will be expanded on in the future to the point you probably may be able to recognize some but unless you have the memory of a super human, you probably wont recognize them that well. There are only 2 devs working on this game right now so the quality of the game on release day probably wont be up to par with a triple A game on release day. Good review though

I still feel like the tornadoes and weather effects are too sharp and well defined. I think they should be dulled down and blurred a bit
