- There are many heroes in the Bible. Some are great warriors. But others are men of quiet faith - men who display their courage, not on the battlefield, but simply by their faithfulness to God. Daniel is such a man. In this program we’re going to consider his experience in the lions’ den. This is an inspiring story about courage and bravery, but most of all, about true faithfulness, about faith in God through all things, about faith that stood the test of time during a crisis.

Well, I'd like to tell you about a man who stood very much alone in a time of widespread corruption, a man who was tested by the roar of danger -- up close. His career took him to the courts of the Medo-Persian Empire, during the reign of King Darius. The man, Daniel, was considered by many to be a prophet.
There's something else that impresses me about Daniel's prayer. He wasn't in a panic, begging God to give him a way out of the dilemma. He wasn't a desperate man, it wasn't a desperate prayer. It was a prayer of thanksgiving! That's what it says, Daniel was "giving thanks to his God" as was his custom.
This tells me something about this man's religion. It shows me why it stood the test of time during a crisis. Daniel treasured his relationship with his Lord; to him, that was most important. The most important thing in his life, in fact. He was thankful for the privilege of communicating with the Almighty. That was worth any price, you know.
A religion of convenience isn't going to make when we find ourselves in a real pressure situation. Nor is it going to make it in the last days when deadly decrees start coming our way. Religion as a once-a-week supplement to our lives just isn't going to make it. Only a relationship with God, a God that we value above all else is going to stand.
Like Daniel, the great reformer, John Hus, based his life on obedience to his Lord. When Hus was condemned to be burnt alive at the stake, he had to undergo what was called "the ceremony of degradation." Church dignitaries at the scene publicly stripped away his identity as a priest, and as a Christian.
What this courageous man expressed was this: "You can take everything away from me; you can degrade me publicly, but you can't take away the most precious thing in my life -- my relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ."
And that's the kind of testimony that Daniel made. Even under the threat of certain death in the lions' den, he still treasured communicating with his Lord. He would not betray that relationship.

I firmly believe there is but one God and there is no god but God! I am also a Christian and I believe - no - I KNOW Jesus is God's only begotten Son. My experience and FAR (far more than I deserve) too many Miracles in my life leave me no choise but to accept this as Truth. That being said, I have met many Muslims who have led good CHRISTIAN lives and I have no choise but to believe that God will not turn His back on those who, perhaps unknowingly, follow Jesus' commandments. My experiences and Miracles prove a Loving and,hopefully, not so Just (my sins are legion) God!

Perhaps Jesus letting me know I can do (or He expects) better? All I know is what the Miracles and experiences in my life tell me - Jesus is a Loving God and I'm a miserable sinner; probably worse than most because I'm supposed to know better! With that, I try hard not to condemn - something about casting the first stone. Even God's admonition to the good friend of a savagely afflicted (Old Testament) Job: My Ways are not your ways.
The Miracles in my life tell of a Loving God. A god who loves the world - He did send His Son, after all - and to say God will turn His back on people who have possibly never heard the Word of God, is hubris to the extreme! A truth I have learned: "let go and let God"! Let Him decide if He wants to turn His back or not! As Jesus commanded: "love one another as I have loved you". Excuse me if I try hard to do so and if that makes me a "typical Christian" with a "superior twisted attitude", then guilty as charged and dare I say proud of it!!!!

For all of those who find themselves in a den of lions, suffering the attack's of the enemy the accuser of the brethren, know this, GOD will deliver all of you, with HIS mighty hand. Don't give up, trust in the LORD just like Daniel, and HE will deliver all of you. Amen! Make prayer the most important part of your day! The Incredible Journey yes I’ve been on a spiritual journey and had a narcissist try and make me be his slave , so because I would not , he used his contacts with government officials, social services and police to take my child and scare my children where I had to run and was made homeless! He then found me and had his staff come into a homeless hostel and offer me help through the pretence that they were a charity for homeless and vulnerable and these ppl made my life hell as I’m an empath and threw me into a very dangerous and toxic environment where I was afraid to leave my room! They told me I would be thrown out if I prayed by candle and had an alter , but I still prayed and put up my alter! I was very ill and they bullied me and made me worse! They used my culture against me and I was afraid to tell ppl I am a gypsy because of backlash because they would want to fight and bully me if I didn’t give them money and let them walk over me! Because I am psychic too I had messages from God that Our Lord will return in 2030 because I was going through awakenings, they went behind my back and tried to have me institutionalised next door where ppl with special needs were living and because I seen and stood up for these ppl too, that I seen being abused by staff they called police and tried to arrest and intimidate me to not stand up against injustice and was threatened I would be thrown on the street even though they knew I have endometriosis and wasn’t eating and bleeding heavily, I had two operations before Christmas and I was praying for healing and constantly praying , they don’t believe in God they would ridicule and laugh at me with other residents who lived there and these residents told me how they laughed at my health , my voice and situation because I had PTSD through abusive relationships! Then ppl in the street all low energy ppl, alcoholics and ppl with drug addictions came and threatened I was gonna be beaten up or killed, I never met these ppl before and didn’t know them , I was so scared because one woman told me watch out ppl are coming for you and they know where you live! Instead of hiding I stood outside my door and waited trusting my father in heaven was protecting me and my father forewarned me and told me not to fear and trust him! I watched and seen the narcissist turn up one evening they thought I was a fool and I played it well and pretended I didn’t notice and I seen him go into the house opposite where he and his soldier friends were all living , he’s an ex soldier and he watched me suffer and partied with his mates while he sent all these ppl to attack me and I seen staff members, his female staff turn up and then I knew why I was being held captive really ! I had been given a council house 4 months prior to this and they were blocking me getting it and when I knew they were working for him and that the charity BRIDGE IT HOUSING were a sham and he owned it, I rang domestic violence and I got my home straight away and could escape! I was so afraid and didn’t know what to do and considered suicide ! He and another man watched my routine because I liked to go for walks in nature and I would visit a chicken farm everyday because I love children’s , he was waiting for me but I recognised the car because I’d seen his friend before and the car but pretended I didn’t and I was shaking inside and praying to God for protection, he was sitting on a wall with black paint waiting to kidnap me but thank God this day two women were with me and I was walking a dog , so that’s what saved me and of course God. Next day I got my house and ran and told council what’s going on ! Thank you for asking ! I’m still isolated but I’m free but I’m still scared he has ppl following me but I trust my Lord Jesus Christ will protect me! 🙏❤️

This is a good reminder to us all , that even with the faith of Daniel , you can find yourself in very troublesome times ,, yet , because of that faith , God WILL deliver ,, whether He pulls you out of the Den or brings you home through the fire of John Hus ,, either way , you win .. When I was 24yrs old when I was doing my apprenticeship in a huge public sector company “BEL” one of my supervisor invited me to his house saying that his family wants to meet me I was 400km away from hometown staying in Hostel It was a new place for me didn’t know Anything much at last I understood I was trapped even his family and children were not at home I sensed the danger and there was no way for me to escape then I started to pray to God the God who saved Daniel and shut the Lions mouth you will save me this day whole time I was in prayer and God saved me and protected me from the predator the next day I was able walk out of the house safely and rejoice in the LORD.
Reason to share this testimony many of the female life are in danger we do not know how the devil will work against us but Jesus Christ is with us no matter what so ever the situation may be when we trust in him and call he will do wonders in our life.

When I was a kid in sunday school. We noticed that Daniel wasn't looking at the lion's but looking out the window the light of the Lord. To bad we look at the lion's and not the light. One of my favourite stories from the Bible. God bless all from Australia.

Love the commentator explain the movie with scriptures, love how Daniel shows love and respect for Our Lord by praying three times a day or when he had the chance, show how much he loved Our God Almighty with all his heart, mind, and soul.
