Saw these guys last night in Wolverhampton uk, and their professionalism, talent and showmanship is beyond compare. I've seen many bands over the last 35+ years and they were absolutely top tier. Absolutely brilliant 👏

I saw them in 2013 on a Moscow stage. Pat was ill and fan's crowd was supporting him shouting his name. Miss him so much. Incredible band, handsome and talented men!!!

It's my favorite song. Mr. Big, I love you so much. Mr. Big came to Korea in 1991 and made a special appearance on the KBS TV show. I was there and watched the show.
I was so happy and excited. I still can't forget.

Just saw them live last night. Just a masterful performance all over. Even in their 50's their brilliance is easy to see. Pat Torpey is an amazing person and hats off to the rest of the band for making place for him in the band despite his illness

What I love about that solo, is its so damn tasteful..everything from tone and phrasing is on point. Its not necersarilly pure shred/speed as Gilbert is obviously known for, but a more mellow and well rounded solo. Not just a guitarist but more a musician
It's 2022 and the 17-year-old me from 1991 still gets a tear in her eye whenever she hears this beautiful track.
I forgot about this song. These guys were excellent and some of the best players to come from that era. Especially Billy Sheehan. I don't think they got the recognition that others got but they were a very good band with great songs. If I'm not mistaken, I think the drummer passed away. Time flies and catches up to everyone, doesn't it?

Eric’s raw vocal-talent is up there with the greats. I’m talking Steve Perry, Freddy Mercury, Mike Matijevic from Steelheart, Brad Delp from Boston, and CJ Snare from Firehouse (just to name a few) is level of talent he has. That’s so impressive. I’m 22, so I don’t hear raw talent like this in new hits. It’s such a chest-melting tone. I just can’t say enough. I wish I could sing like Eric (or sing at all, honestly); it might help with my dating life haha

For what its worth, seems like Paul Gilbert (lead guitar and cofounder) of Mr. Big was so young when they came out with their hits back in the 90s. He is only 55 now while the rest of the band members are in their 60s to late 60s. RIP to Pat Thorpey (drummer) Surely this band made an impact in my HS life.

They had an Eddie Van Halen. Less fancy, but still that level of guitarist.
The player of the instrument which starts with 'b' and ends with 'ass' is also pretty amazing.
Lead vocal too, we're talking 'Rush' level.

Better late than never, I'm getting into Mr. Big music. I had the album of the Eric Martin Band "Sucker for a Pretty Face" when I was a kid. I had no idea that was him in Mr. Big. This guy doesn't age. Still sounds good. Love having all these old videos to re-discover this music.

Try January 2021! Brilliant song and album. Eric's voice so distinctive. I hung out with them backstage on the UK Lean Into It Tour Spring '91 and they were a really great bunch of guys, Billy's stories were hilarious. RIP Pat.
I remember both this and “To Be With You.” Being a musician, I loved Eric Martin’s bluesy vocal style-in some ways, I found it to be inspirational because at the time, I was learning how to play the blues on both the piano and guitar as well as sing it. I realize more now how much Mr. Big’s music provided an influence for me. Unfortunately there are people who look at hair length and make immediate assumptions.
