You cant wish Bardock back. He would have gone to Hell and canonically when you go to Hell (Hell is never shown in canon until RoF), you get cleansed and reincarnated into something else. Frieza was the only one in Hell because he was too stubborn to ever repent. So Bardock is gone forever, reincarnated as something else either a plant, animal, or a random person.
Actually Manga just crossed Superhero story and Goku took Gohan,Goten,Trunks to beerus planet and then Gohan showed him Beast and they both had a normal sparring contest in which Ui Goku & Gohan beast are pretty much evenly matched and it only just started tho so we will know who's stronger in next month chapter but for now, it's pretty much revealed that Freeza is much stronger than anyone. Yeah this was a super arc tbh hopefully we get it animated soon.
Ultra egom Goku Tui, Granolah, Bardock, The heaters, Gas, Frieza, The namekian and saiyan story plus Goku remembering makes this arc just so freaking interesting and worth reading
