That’s why you clear the engine with a momentary increase in rpm, if the aircraft has carburetor heat, it is used on descent
This would be a lot of fun. I was a jumper waaaay back in '78-82. Now as a pilot I could see doing this from the Pilots seat.
What about shock cooling the engine on descent?
But piston aircooled engines dont like the desending fast activity....
