- I was driving by this old area I use to live in and found this overgrown property. I knocked on the homeowners door & a man answered. I asked him if he'd like a free yard makeover. He didn't believe me at first, he thought I was joking. He told me he's been sick for awhile & is just now recovering. He was willing to pay me but I told him it's going to be free. When I finished, he asked me again if I wanted a payment. I told him "No sir, it's a gift to you. Pass on a blessing to somebody else."

However my son does this work for a living , it's hard work for not much payment so until this guy starts flashing his new equipment I'll watch him. But once that happens he's lost me. Like a certain car detailer I could mention.

Being a elderly person myself I have had situations that I couldn't do my lawn work and my Wonderful Neighbors and Church Family helped me out! I had felt so embarrassed and ashamed on how the lawn looked that I didn't even leave the house. I feared what my neighbors thought of me at that time. But I was so humbly surprised that they never looked down on me they only came to help me! Thank you so much for helping the homeowner, you are such a Big Blessing!,😍🤩😊

Unfortunately, a lot of people don't even know their neighbors name anymore. I don't even see mine outside. Yard people do the yard, and people come and go through the garage. I have to admit, I'm the same.

And there were a LOT of clippings... that's a pro touch that attention to detail...especially on a free cut... edging always adds such a nice touch as well...
GREAT JOB 👍, but just a small hint sometimes you do extra work, but you know why. (If you would of use the bag from the lawnmower at the time you cutted the grass you wouldn’t of have to clean it up again with the rake. You wouldn’t of had to do extra work), that’s why bags on lawnmowers were invented. To make the lawn an easier job

Good medicine to get your yard in shape, you came just in time (code enforcer came too, guess he didn't find a problem as you managed to get through that very thick grass. Hope what you did gives the homeowner a boost & he is soon completely well!

Why do they plant these large bushes in front of the windows blocking the light and views? Curtains can provide privacy so plant low growing plants for the aesthetics.

I can’t tell you how thankful I am for you. To help an older man who has been unable to take care of his property himself. I’m a old lady that lost my ability to walk on my own and I know how hard it is to do so many things. Luckily I have a gardener and he is very helpful to me.

I can only imagine the boost to that gentleman's mood, when he woke up the next morning and saw his garden and surrounding area look so good. When you're recovering from an illness/operation, it prays on your mind. I had a new hip earlier this year, and am lucky enough to be able to pay someone to do ours ....

I love your work. You take your time and take out all the grass clippings. Lots of TH-camrs leave all the dead grass on top, which I hate.

Often they keep going over the same spots and lower the blades so they are mulching.

I'm 69 yrs young and I so wish I could (still) do what you just did. I use to many years ago and I loved it. It is truly a blessing that you give of yourself to do this for the less fortunate. I would cut and weed whack my neighbors yard once a week for her. She was in her 70's.Just the satisfaction of cleaning up the neighbors yard is rewarding enough. Thank you so much for the video. I so enjoyed watching it all the way thru. And today is the day before Christmas Eve in 12/2022.
What a difference Fill. I'm a disabled person but I'm still thankful for everything that the good Lord has blessed me with. You will NEVER hear me complaining about my condition and why me...like some people I've heard...and they're healthy and not even disabled. All I can say is THANK YOU LORD FOR EVERYTHING!!!!
