Personally I love the rarity of it. The Touring Car rep’ is defo the way to go, as sadly it’s probably worth peanuts the way it is now. Seeing the magic you’ve worked with other stuff, I have no doubt this will look amazing, if you choose to go for it, Josh.
A little hack for the future since you're mostly working alone - get at least 100ml syringe and a short hose for clutch bleeding. Get some brake fluid into syringe, plug it onto bleeding valve. Unscrew it and push down the syringe - most of the air will come up and will be replaced with fluid. Tighten the valve again and you're ready to go, no pumping or anything! Learned this trick from a garage neighboor who works on vehicles alone for a living, was a bit sceptical at first but it does wonders!
I used to own one of these. In Australia it was called a Eunos 500. It was Mazda’s version of a Lexus and was aimed to compete with BMW 3 Series etc. it was very cutting edge in its day. I still love the styling. Has aged very well. I also used to own a beautiful Mazda 1500SS. Also very cutting edge in its day. Enjoying your channel. Keep up the great work. Cheers from Australia.

I just had a similar fuel issue with one of my cars and although the fuel pump does prime some days and not others I'm more or less sure that it is a faulty pump even though I put a new one in about 18 months ago. I can hear the pump relay pick and drop for a second or so each time I try even if the pump doesn't prime. Anyway, great old Mazda.
Touring car fitment! Also looks like the leading edge of the bonnet above the grille is dented? Maybe bonnet is bent too as shut line to the drivers wing is off
Think you will need a new back box at least. When you were revving it in the unit, looked like there was a small amount of exhaust smoke from under the rear end
In my early teens way to many years ago i heard a mx3 with the 1.8 v6 engine getting an absolute beating. than thing sounded mean as F, the sound is still fresh in my memory. I don't like the actual mx3 but the sound of a small high revving 6 cylinder oh yeah
I think you should keep it turn it in to a gresswell garage car put it on air/alloys all the fun bits and use it for a daily and it can be a car to show off your work you can do to cars
It's a mixture of a Mazda 6 and a Toyota Camry in looks. If it had been an auto I'd have been tempted, keep up with the great videos.
