I totally saw you two last night at Coachella! You both were walking out of the Hans Zimmer crowd when the performance started & you were wearing those hats 😄. I wanted to run up to you and say thanks for such a great video but I didn't wanna get lost from my group. This year was my first Coachella and first time camping and your 35 tips video really helped me prepare for all the things that could've gone wrong and I had the best camping experience! Hope you had a great Coachella too!
Omg so helpful. I'm so tired of all the 5 minute videos on youtube that focus way too much on the 'artistry' of the video, been looking for something useful. The dry ice tip is GENIUS. Thank you!
I've gone the past 4 years to Coachella & last year was my first year camping! I wish I would've seen this video then! Such good ideas :) thank you thank you thank you!!! Have fun this year guys!
I always look back at these type of videos every year to make sure I don't accidentally forget some ovbious stuff. These are all great tips and if I can add one is a portable pop up shower tent from Amazon. Easy to set up, put away, and clean. You get your privacy and just shower in your camp area. :)
Absolutely loved this video! You guys are sooo genuine and cute 😍 Most of the videos I watched were focusing about stup*d stuff (like carring a lot of makeup, all of those fancy expensive clothes) and you guys just gave amazing and realistic tips! Thank you soo much 😛
I turn 30 on the 17th, I am crossing my fingers I can make it happen --- but, I'm coming from the East Coast and never been to Cali, any tips for lone travelers?
im trying to go next year for the first time and so i have to start planning for the trip now so im debating on weather to camp or not, this video really does make me want to camp!!
Thanks for this vid! Great tips!! I'm going camping by myself this year, first time, and I'm ready 😎 I've been to other festivals by myself but this is my first time camping.
Thank you for all the tips! I'm going for the first time and I'm camping!!!! My question is do we put all the dry ice on the bottom of the cooler and then the rest of the ice bags on top? Also we are having 4 camp sites are 4 canopies enough shade?
Yeah you don't really want to touch the dry ice to get to the regular ice so just put it on the bottom and stack the regular ice on top. Also you might want to put the cooler in the shade it'll probably help the ice last longer. 4 canopies should be fine, but another thing you should try doing is getting the panels to block the sun from the sides. Its hard to explain, but it attaches on the sides of the ez up and provides directional shade and comes in handy in the afternoon.
There are filling stations but 5 gallon jug might not fight in it. Its hard to explain but its sort of like a sink and its really meant for small water bottles. I would get a gallon max, just because of fitment issues and you can always refill as needed. No biggie
I would assume you would just buy ice when you run out. I would still bring as much ice as you can to save some money but it probably wont last all weekend without the dry ice.
No shame here! Cooler is a good place. Or your grill. The gas filler cap area (i.e. tape it to the door of the gas tank). Don't put it in jars like peanut butter. They will pat you down during the car inspection so we just hid it in the car in an unlikely place. If they find something from the get go, they will keep looking so just play the game ;) We're going weekend one which is in a few days! Ahhhhhh!!!
hello its gonna be my first time going to coachella next year. i just have one question. are the hotels far away from the event because me and my friend are planning to get a hote? my second question is if we decide to camp is it gonna be too loud at night if we wanna go to sleep ?
Lean Resus Lean Resus there’s tons of hotels in the area, so it just depends on where you stay. & then taking Ubers every day was hit or miss.. some drivers had NO idea where to go & with the traffic a 10 min drive could EASILY turn into an hour, & an expensive ride too. I stayed in a hotel last year, but am camping this year.. & I’ve heard it can be pretty hard to sleep due to the noise
pleblife sorry another question: how is the parking situation? Some of my group is planning to leave Thursday night around 5pm and other half is leaving at 7pm. Would we be able to park together where the first group saves a spot? Or would we be split up if we don't go together?
You have to come in together with your entire group, they wont save spots. You have two options, either come in together through the checkpoint OR if you want there is a waiting spot at the end of the checkpoint where you can wait for your friends. You get assigned a camping spot after car checkins so you choose option B (wait at the waiting spot for your friends to come) but the easiest way is to just come in together. Its more fun and less hectic that way too. Hope that helps!

You should camp!!! :) It's the only way for your first Coachella! Have fun!
PREAAAACHHHH!! These tips are all perfect haha, wish I would've seen this before I camped last year!!
Are these tips for a two person campsite? (Like for the amount of things to bring?)
Thanks for this vid! Great tips!! I'm going camping by myself this year, first time, and I'm ready 😎 I've been to other festivals by myself but this is my first time camping.
What type of cooler did you use for the dry ice? And how big was your cooler?
so, you leave your tent up but then put your food etc in the car?
Pls tell me where you got your hats!!

Also there are water filling stations correct because we are bringing 5 gallon jugs to use for cooking?

What do you do for ice for festivals that don't allow dry ice? (I know this is a video about Coachella but hopefully you can help)
I would assume you would just buy ice when you run out. I would still bring as much ice as you can to save some money but it probably wont last all weekend without the dry ice.
this is aa no shame post.. for car inspection.. whered yall..... hide.. your stuff??. im kinda nervous.. and what weekend yall going to this year?
No shame here!

love the hat!!! where is it from?
Thanks so much! My hat that I'm wearing in the video is from Equal Uprise. The one in the thumbnail is from Zara. :)

Lean Resus been camping for three years now at Coachella. The noise at night is very minimal
Really good video.
we are not car camping, just camping, do all those tips apply?
I would assume so, I've never done regular camping just the car camping. I think we share camp grounds though, youre just in a different zone.
Do the bathrooms have toilet liner?
The portables no, but the one inside the festival with running water yes!
