Send away's, Hand Signals, and Gestures

How do your dogs communicate with each other? Do they talk? Do they bark to tell each other something? Does the bark means something different each time? Maybe there is more scientific answer to this than what we are about to explain. But generally speaking, dogs communicate through body language and posturing.
So why would we not try and communicate with dogs the same way. Body language plays a big role in dog training. If your mad, they see it. If you are happy they see it. And most of the time they see it before you can express it to them.
In this video we are trying to demonstrate how Blue can understand which direction to go off of a hand signal(body language) as we send him from one platform to the next. We are also showing how we can start combining send away’s to the platform without rewarding each individual send away. Lastly, how hand signals can be used from a short distance to communicate to him what we want him to do.
