- Our Departure from Kuala Lumpur International Airport in 2023. In this video we show you how to depart from Kuala Lumpur Airport in Malaysia. Your departure from KLIA may not be exactly like ours but this video aims to give you an idea of what you can expect. We take you with us from arrival at the airport with a taxi, checking-in for our flight, giving a short airport tour, eating at Din Tai Fung in the Departures Hall, riding the Aerotrain to the Satellite Building and from their doing some shopping at Duty Free before we walk to the Departure Gate of our Malaysia Airlines International flight.

Leaving Malaysia was always a sad moment, so I have very bitter-sweet memories of that airport.

It’s a long drive from Kuala Lumpur! But very pleasant as the highway is beautiful! I visited Malaysia (KL) for the first time last week.
Maro is so right. If you can have a little comfort using a trolley to carry your bag, take it! 😃

Love these videos and again nice to see you with your parents . Shopping went ok for you maxi I think you got away with it lightly 😂 we always buy a fridge magnet as it’s something we always have . The little maro dance and the song you sang well my dad sang that his whole life , even as youngsters he would sing it in the car on journeys and myself and sister used to laugh at him . Goodmorning both of you! Glad you enjoyed the vid, we have just started editing the Tripreport from Kuala Lumpur to Doha with Malaysia Airlines. Like the airport video we are going to try and start editing the Tripreports to a much shorter version. If you have any input as to where you would like us to cut or show less of in the Flight Review videos please leave us your suggestions. Actually, I (Maxi) did not get away from Duty Free very cheaply as it looks. That stack of chocolates Maro was holding were from New Zealand and they were far from cheap, HeHe (compared to high street prices)😂🤣. Is the aero train now working? I thought it was out of commission until early Jan 2024. Wasn’t working in July 2023 when I was last there
6:36, 6 months after you see the airplane model, I return home to Kuala Lumpur from Phuket, Thailand on Airasia, but arriving on KLIA2 or Terminal 2 on July 6 to stay until July 19 to departing on Terminal 1 to Manila, Philippines on KLM, Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for vacation and the airplane model is still there today, which is good.

4:02, Oh that's sad that KFC is used to be there before, but it's gone. But your so lucky that your able to eat KFC in the airport, which is good choice, before it change to Kyochin 1991.
Yes, restaurants come and go! We ware thrilled that there is now a Din Tai Fung in the airport and it was a pleasure eating there! :-D
