Right now..all some bwo y fi gwey bout dem a singer...Here we have a real singer...Not only is he talented but he has real authentic raw talent. The man is a pioneer ..rub shoulders with the greats before they were great so this makes Glen a musical legend...He travelled extensively. This man has class and was with the big wigs..The man was on demand with the biggest and best labels and companies.1st Black Millionaire in Canada.. thought the man was an American growing up and hearing his songs..and still have that crystal voice...Drugs is real but he is still holding his notes.OMG..Teach Dem coming..We got a History lesson that we could not pay for.

@@TeachDem Teach, I was watching your facial expressions while listening to Sir Ricks and I could see that many times you were simply bowled over. A mean the man rub shoulders with so many of the greats. From my fave, Donny Holloway, to Stevie Wonder, little Janet Jackson and the list goes on and on. It's like he lived 3 lifetimes in one. I'm simply amazed!

Glenn Ricks have been in the company of some of Music most Iconic People. In the midst of GREATNESS. Donnie Hathaway n Stevie Wonder REAL Musical Genius. Glen u have been to the Heights of Great Men.
Of all the interviews I’ve listened to I realized that Glen Ricks is the biggest of them all….rubbing shoulders with Janet Jackson, Donny Hathaway, Stevie wonder , the spinners, main ingredients, rod temperton(who wrote thriller for Michael Jackson). He also appears on Dick Clarke talk show. First to sign with CBS , Columbia records.. he also signed with filthy rich and sang with Heat wave and was friends with the owners of TD bank of Canada. What a journey and he’s so humble!!!

Teach, so glad you have with Glen Ricks on an interview. In my younger days I thought he was a foreign artist and I always called his name Glen Ricketts until my friend corrected me. This man is a good singer.
Teach Dem, I know you're not easily impress neater do I, but I'm so blown away listening to Glen Ricks journey in this music industry. For years I always wonder what ever happen to this man. Every time I ask about him I didn't like the answers I was getting, still it's so nice seeing him holding a vibes and reasoning with the great Teach Dem.

It was somewhere between 1980 and 1981 when I was a young keyboard player at then Seawind Beach Resorts where I met Glen briefly. He was hanging out with the steel pan player by the name of Cabot Paul. Had a beautiful acoustic guitar in his hand. I didn't really speak to him but Mr. Paul said to me "Don't you know the great Glen Ricks?" Never heard of him before but I always wondered what became of him. Never met his wife but when he spoke about the Lewis sisters my memory took me back to playing for Cindy Lewis doing her cabaret shows at Seawind. Keep up the good work my brother. I have played for many and have toured many countries but now a minister, music tutor and plays in the church.

What an amazing interview and experience. I always wondered what happened to him. Many many years ago in Vancouver i met him and also had a the opportunity to sit in on the rehearsal very humble man. He open the show with (I Found a Love) I was blown away from the first note..... it was an excellent show, he is a great performer. This is the best interview thus far!
