Hi guys! This is a pass for me. I am 70 years old and an overnight/weekender...WITHOUT A HEAD...is my worst aqua nightmare! I would go for a limo-style tender with a day head and convertible seating...but that is just me. :) Be well and be happy.
Not a big fan of this if you are going to use as a tender or for water sports. Low bollards during hi speed turns during waterskiing or wakeboarding would mean in-boat people would be hanging on for their lives not to be thrown out of the boat. You would need seatbelts or more than low seat handles to hang onto.
Love this tender! For those worried about the lack of a head, you could easily get a portable toilet and use an instant pop up toilet tent in back of boat when nature calls for sit down jobs.
A tender w/a pop-up tent? When you have charter kids aboard, (w/the proper safety precautions) they'd love sleeping there. It would be just like camping-out in the backyard.
Y’all should definitely take these tenders out for a ride since they’re smaller and it doesn’t take us long to tour them. A sea trial would definitely be a great addition to the tour
This is a cool looking boat/tendor. I think good for a crew tendor to do errands/pick-up supplies ect. Or as a tendar on a boat that a couple operate that may only have two guest. The 150 Mercury will definitely give it top speeds and the 200 Mercury I think a little to much power not needed on this size of boat. The tent idea is fantastic I'd use it as a weekend get away cooler/small gas stove cook on beach smallmicrowave so as to heat up coffee or hot water for tea. 10/10 so many posibilities
You all had the pop up bow shown prior to showing it amd as soon as I saw it, I was so happy. This was an idea I had for the Hysucat. I also habe an idea for an extra berth on the B38 catamaran too. The drop down bed that you find in a lot of motorhomes.
That's a cute little boat, but I don''t see much point in having a pop up tent presumably for overnights or weekends when it doesn't have a HEAD. How long you planning to hold that?
@@NautiGuys So true! You're both still young and fabulous, but eventually certain priorities change as we age. At this point, I could probably sleep sitting up in the console chair at 20 knots, so other optional facilities take precedence... I literally just woke up from being asleep in my computer desk chair for 3 hours, logged back in and saw your reply. Proof of concept, you could say :)
So would the crane on your new Bering be able to lift that little toy up and onto the tender parking space? Never mind, I see they have an estimated weight of 1000kg including an engine and fuel, so probably a yes. Or is Bering continuing to build the Hysucats for tenders? A baby catamaran would be a nice shallow draft tender for you too!
Pretty color. That 150 is perfect for tubing! Spin the line over the wake a few times! Fingers toes fingers toes! Nothing like cartwheels on the water! 😂🤣⚓️
the windscreen looks like it should go up and down. But love the "tent" cabin. It would be great for a couple of teens on a big charter boat. You know like a chill pad away from the old people (us 🤣)
This boat is really cute! The best part... it will fit in my glove compartment. I especially like the way that bench converts into a baby changing station. Hope you guys enjoy Cannes away from that pesky boat show!
Very cool boat for sure. Rico I also watch and enjoy our friends from Australia they make some good food on that small boat or island which ever they cook on at the time. The killer whale hunting video they captured a few weeks ago was graphic but amazing. Have a great week and be good to each other.
There’s definitely a lot of unique options on that boat! The price point seems like it is in reach for a lot of people. Sounds like a win win situation for the consumer!! 👍👍
Did you guys make a NTL (new tender list) with all what you wanna have as a tender? Did you decide already if you go GRP or aluminium, outboard or jet drive, petrol, diesel or even electric? They are making cute electric jet tenders.
It's a cute boat but I think as a tender for you its a little small. The seating is very tight it looks like it will not be that comfortable for taller and bigger people. For a couple with kids as a run around cool boat awesome. My opinion any way 😊.
that pop up tent would come in handy when your yacht is moored in deeper water and you want to go to the big beach party, but you indulge yourselves in too much boozahol and you cant see far enough to find your big boat and you dont want to get busted for drinking and operating a boat ! you can just pop the top and sleep away nice and safe until morning when you are only massively hung over and can get back to the yacht safely ! 😵😵lol as a tender tho, how well would it tow? especially with such a short deadrise? would a RIB not be a better option for a towable tender?
Mav needs on of these. Can camp on the water when ever if it last sec idea, fish all over an use it as a fun play boat also. Someone show MAV this, be a great asset for his channel
Though I realy love this boat, it would just be fun. I'm maybe not as enamored with the pop-up tent. I guess it'd keep mosquitoes off, but think I'd rather put the bow cusions on and sleep under the stars. Might be decent storage under there without the cushions. Tender? Great runabout to resupply or shuttle a couple. If you planned on a small inflatable, this is a great replacement if you have a means to stow it aboard, or want to tow it. Would limited passenger space be an issue? Depends on how you'd plan to use it.
With the open transom this is an extremely safe boat, because no mater how big the waves the water self bails out the back. You'd want to try the 150 + 115, the 150 might be a bit heavy for it?
foldable controls, electric maintenance free motor and a bunch of batteries, pulled into the tender garage and connected to the main ship via an umbilical cord to be charged and serve as additional battery power storage like you can use your ev to power your off grid house, the main ship to be solar powered with diesel as backup /maybe hydrogen? as another redundancy/, as a tender to shore access and buzzing around the main ship the reach should be sufficient
I have a future request. YOu and Rico are the youtube King and Queen of the Trawler Yacht world, and along with that it would be highly educational to cover for all of us, proper tenders for the yachting world to see. Especially the safety and reliability of such tenders. I know you are extremely busy, thats why I said in the future...God bless you both.
If you’re going to look seriously at this you should also take a look at the Axopar 22, same concept but slightly bigger. How often would anyone use the tent??
I think it would be cool to own one of those aqua cars that's half boat half car, then you don't need to worry about taking the boat to the dock and getting into a car etc, it's all in 1 package deal 🤔🥰
Not a fan of the layout as it was presented. Perhaps have modular seating to allow to be used as flat deck space for provisioning. Additionally, use floor rails to allow double bench (add- arm rest supports for rider safety) to move aft while anchored. Remove the “tent” it is not needed, if you have a super yacht. Higher bullworks for safety. Remove the glass aft pass thru, it is not functional with a lower bullwork. I realize the boat is a prototype and has a long way to go to be the go to tender. IMO
wouldn't it be better to have a diesel on the back more reliable and cheeper on fuel and you have plenty of fuel on the main boat and fare less fire risk an far more toque
Cool little boat, but looks like a wet ride. Hold on. It’s a 20’ boat? The design makes it seem small? A 20’ aluminum fishing boat seems hue in comparison.
When Victoria flipped up the bow flooring I'm thinking here we go, a 3 person shower for sure!!!!!
hahahaha

Yaaay 💙

Great idea
Ever since Saxdor came onto the market, they have continually stepped up their game.
I think they copy a lot of what Axopar do.
👌🏼
This Saxdor would be perfect for exploring Whitsunday islands in Australia!

Bloody lovely little open, every time Saxdor come out with a new design it impresses.

What a great little day boat or tender for the big yachts, really nice design and I like the colour as well. Thank's for a great tour.xx
Couldn’t agree more
The Saxdor 200 with the pop up tent is a great boat. And it is also incredible, that is on the market like for 4 years with this feature.
Y’all should definitely take these tenders out for a ride since they’re smaller and it doesn’t take us long to tour them. A sea trial would definitely be a great addition to the tour

Cool tender. Good review you two are the best in the entire yachting industry, end of quote. 🐻
Great tender tour! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very modern looking lines....it's a beautiful boat....love the engine😂
How cute! 🤩😍😘
💙
As a towed or stowed tender? I'd think a towed tender should hold all the guests for day trips at anchor. Will it fit in Adamas with a folding helm?

Back to Basics - Strick and Fran!! Great channel, I binge them as often as I do you guys lol! Love that tent!!
If this was available when I was starting to buy my own boats I definitely would’ve bought one of these. Very very cool.

oh wow.., I did not expect that 😯... a tent? Genius 🥰😍.. however, i think you guys should get an Iguana 😁😍

Does it have a diesel option? Great to be able to refuel from your tanks on board

Thank you!!
Does the Windscreen go up and down ?
🤔
Hey guys its B2B castaways Jack and Fran. They are my favs. You guys are a distant 2nd 😂
Another awesome vid!
Upvoted 👍👍👍👍

Great sleeping area, so the head is port-side or starboard?
lol not head here
OMG, love the bow angle. As you know it reminds me of the bearing front bow. Just like past history dreadnought battleships. Too cool.
lol
That's really good, great ideas. That would do me as a fun day boat

Great boat and fab colour, camping option just great.

Ok that was different loved it!⚓️❤️

I was gonna say that’s only a two person shower just because!⚓️❤️ but didn’t want to make fun of your shower sizes cause it’s ok

can't have it all on a 20'
