- 31 मई यह World No-Tobacco Day पे मनाया जाता है। आज इस वीडियो में Dr Vinod Gore (Consultant Medical OncologistCancer Surgeon ) हमें क्या मुंह का कैंसर ठीक हो सकता है ? ( Is Oral Cancer Curable? ) इस विषय के बारे में बात करेंगे।
जब मुँह के कैंसर की हम बात करते है तब सबसे एहम प्रश्न जो सबके मन में रहता है की क्या मुँह के कैंसर का इलाज हो सकता है।
हां , यह कैंसर जरूर ठीक हो सकता है लेकिन दो चीज़े काफी महत्वपूर्ण है की कैंसर की स्टेज और दूसरे है ट्रीटमेंट। अगर कैंसर का सही समय पे उपचार या निदान हो जाए तो मुँह का कैंसर जरूर ठीक हो सकता है।
जब कैंसर शुरुवात के स्टेज में तब यह कैंसर ठीक होने की सम्भावना बोहोत अच्छी रहती है और पहले दो stages में पेशेंट आरामसे ठीक हो सकता है। Stage 4 mouth cancer पूरी तरह ठीक होने की संभावना काफी कम रहती है। ऐसे में डॉक्टर यही प्रयत्न करते है की उस पेशेंट की तकलीफ कैसे कम की जाए।
मुँह के कैंसर में surgery ही gold standard ट्रीटमेंट है। इसलिए जब भी इसका निदान होता है तो जल्द से जल्द सर्जरी करके कैंसर निकालना काफी महत्वपूर्ण होता है। Stage 3 mouth cancer के पेशेंट में radiation therapy और chemotherapy दी जाती है , जिससे कैंसर आने की सम्भावना काफी कम होती है।
मुँह का कैंसर का हम जल्दी निदान कर सकते है। अगर मुँह का छाला 3 हफ्ते से ज्यादा हो तो ऐसे में आप डॉक्टर की सलाह ले सकते है और जांच कर सकते है। और ऐसे में पेशेंट को पूरी तरह से ठीक कर सकते है।
