Damn I’m from the Philly area and I remember those teams.. in this area we all still talk about those guys like it was yesterday. For years after the 70’s Philly was still building their teams the same way and didn’t keep up with the younger speed of the game. I would’ve loved for this movie to make it!
Hockey is one of those sports that you can tell Joe never grew up around and has a lack of knowledge of, but if he went to a game he’d love the hell out it.
The movie would have to start with Saint Louis Blues incidents and end with the 1976 Soviet Union game. That would give you a beginning, middle, and end. Tell it from the point of view of Bobbie Clarke and Ed Snyder. Interesting times.

Philly had fighters but talent. Clarke, Barber, Leach, Watson, Bladon, Van Imp and Parent in goal. Talented team
it's sad because you know the movie would be so brutal and so good
Would of loved to see this movie come to light.

Damn dude, we need this movie, I don't care if it looks like it's filmed on a cell phone, your the only guy to even take a stab at it and it's a shame
They weren't only tough , they had stars- Clarke, parent, macleish, barber, etc,
The NHL allowed rough fights back then.
They were as talented as they were tough. Misconceptions seem to be there with Rob Zombie too.
This movie would have been amazing. Cops on the ice to break up fights....ha! They had to bring local bikers in for security.

Who would you cast to play Freddie The Fog?
@@253jacksonrhoads1 Once you put the glasses on, anybody could play Fred Shero. How about Billy Bob Thornton?
Chris Pratt as Dave “The Hammer” Schultz
I'm Canadian we all knew people like that3
cops with skates? Duh. Thats Rogans "true story?" Chris Russo moment.
It was the tough guy sport. They no longer are tough and it has become European hockey.
