Today we continue our series in the book of Isaiah - "Preparing for the Messiah". In today's passage (Isaiah 52:13-53:12), we meet the key character of the second half of the book... the Servant of the Lord. In this fourth of the "Servant Songs", we see how it is that God will deal with the sin of his people, as the Servant dies as a substitute for them. Jesus perfectly fulfils both the role of the Messiah and this suffering Servant.
