Streets of San Francisco needs a reboot......... and no, I am NOT talking about a reboot like how they ruined Hawaii 5-0 (ie. drowned in techno-babble, computers, cell-phones, and hacker shit).
So what, a Street of San Francisco without Malden and without Douglas ? Isn't that a bit like a reunion concert of the Beatles without McCartney and Lennon ? What they could do is what the British did with Inspector Morse: making a series about young Morse, under the title Endeavour. Maybe there could be a reboot with a young Mike Stone, set in the 1950's, with nice old cars and slick mobsters etc. But a series in the 1970's without the two main figures... Hmmm... not really.
I agree with you. Do not, under any circumstances, wish for a SOSF reboot/remake/retread/reanything. BARF. A 1950's Mike Stone show sounds intriguing however.
Out of respect for Karl Malden, Michael Douglas could have made at least a cameo appearance. This way, the script could have been rewritten where he is not killed. I suppose it doesn’t matter now. Karl is now gone too.
I liked the newer intro music. More mature.. majestic... mirroring the maturing times and city. Now with Google maps street view you can find all the locations from the original series, and see what they look like now. Like Steve's apartment on Union Street, etc.

@@missstargazer79 CBS is actually thinking of a reboot of "The Streets of San Francisco" I think it could work.
Imo the Hawaii 5-0 reboot is great.
@@chuckers40 Not without Malden and Douglas it wouldn't. I much prefer the 1950s Mike Stone prequel idea.
thank you 🙏🏿
Disrespectful to Michael Douglas as he put so much into the series that he should never have been murdered off .
very disappointing
THUNDER CHILD - maybe he was holding out for more money 💰?
Tas ahievao si el man did not want to be in. Entonces que se muera and period.
Out of respect for Karl Malden, Michael Douglas could have made at least a cameo appearance. This way, the script could have been rewritten where he is not killed. I suppose it doesn’t matter now. Karl is now gone too.
It was great until the last part too fast and don't know how it ended what a shame ❤❤
The Series is still available on Fuzzy TV You Tube Channel. Great show.
I liked the newer intro music. More mature.. majestic... mirroring the maturing times and city. Now with Google maps street view you can find all the locations from the original series, and see what they look like now. Like Steve's apartment on Union Street, etc.
Not enough time, I understand great esp!!👍
Does anyone know where I can watch all these great episodes of streets of San Francisco?
You tube and MeTv +. Airs daily at 2pm. Ditto Mod Squad, Hawaii Five O, & The Rookies.
Utube!! What happened to the film in the end of the movie. All I saw were stills rapidly flashing and no sound.
Watched the whole movie until the last 5 minutes, then the picture went berserk
Old people Kick-Ass.
There is something wrong in the video in the end.
Now it’s the Homeless on the streets of San Francisco
William Daniels is now 91 years old! Holy heck!
@@suzannewillis817 Very
Liked the show, except the last 10min..It was on fast forward, couldn't stop it!
In Color!
A Quinn Martin production!
This is a great cop show
Michael Douglas looks like Bradley cooper in this.
Boy! Somebody must've been in a hurry...
Hello I am so sorry if this sounds weirds but you wrote such a nice and wonderful comment on here and I like your comment. I can tell you are a very positive person. If it's okay with you I'd love to be friends!
Inspector Connor so reminds me of Inspector Keller
29:36 I wish they would show cops speaking bluntly like, “You’re dumb as hell!” 😂😂😂😂
This is like a Hallmark movie, where is the action of a 70s cop show?
Very good
Is There A Good Version Of Back To The Streets Of San Francisco Also Wondered Is It Available On DVD.
I wish it was
Good question. Stone gets the loser in the end and beats the crap out of him.that idiot probably wished he never had been born.
That would be CBS' call, since it's now responsible for both Quinn Martin's and Aaron Spelling's programs!!!
Die Straßen von Sanfrancisko.War auch eine tolle Krimi Version.
No 8track tapes like in the 70,s old show in this movie. --Missed those 8track tape days original show
Forget the fond memories. Why did you fast forward the fourth act and epilog(ue)?
The movie was going so good until the ending, what kind of crap is this!
Good movie...I enjoyed although the last minutes are sped and can't be watched properly...
Karl Malden
this was painful to watch. i like the OG seasons
next time you wanna go for a boat ride..don't take me
You ruined a perfect memories of my childhood by f……ing the end of this movie 🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡
Meaning what? Is the ending cut?
Great story!!
Was great until the end and then for some reason it's stuck on fast forward can't get it to stop
Pity that the ending was a slideshow
