I finally got my first travelers notebook!! Watching your videos inspired me so much to start a journaling habit! I was stuck between the olive and the brown, but now I'm really happy I got the olive.
I know it’s been a few years since you uploaded this video but I just happened to see it in my recommendations, and I just wanted to say that the dollar bill you have in your second TN is considered a good luck charm. A dollar bill with the small number 2 on the four inner corners means good luck and they are a bit rare!

hi lucy! i made them myself with old file organizers that i cut down to size. the washi stickers were mostly from either aliexpress or cutethingsfromjapan :)

I also don't like the velvety sort of leather. They are harder to maintain. My first Camel Midori is very velvety. I got it in June 2017 and it still very velvety. It doesn't age smooth, is lighter in color and doesn't show scratches. On the other hand, it gets and looks "dirty" (not the aging sort of dirty, but since it is suede like leather this is how it does). My ACE Hotel Camel Midori version is exactly like my first camel. I found someone in Facebook selling his smooth - leathered camel. Of course, I had to snatch that one and wow! the leather is so different. It is similar to your camel and ages beautifully. I will sell my first camel Midori because it certainly is not my kind of leather.
Great video. I love my notebooks too. So much joy. I equally love my travelers, travelers passport and hibonichi techo setups. I love that you have the ... What's the word ... Energy to focus on your own art and stickers. My notebooks would be much nicer if I put in that effort. Anyway. Love your setups. Thanks for sharing.

traveler's notebooks are just these kind of leather covers with elastics inside. you can use them for anything you want. i use mine as a daily journal / diary and as a planner. and mine almost always stay at home. i just like leather and i like the size of them. i think choosing a size you like the best is most important. hope you can find what fits you well!

Find yourself a good quality zipper insert und then maybe a folder for bills. I think it's very handy especially when you use the passport size for money tracking as well. And when I was in China for my travels I also used the passport size as my wallet. Just used the fourruof zipper insert
