Treeplanting Gear Up - On The Cheap!

Getting all the gear for treeplanting and heading out to the sticks for the first shift! I would say it's gonna be fun, but... haha! Gear is important, and saving money is important! Here's a rundown of the final preparations and what to aim for when gearing up for the planting season.

It is definitely true that black flies are attracted to dark clothing! That’s why I always wear light colours when gardening this time of the year. Also peppermint is s natural bug repellent. Lots of info on line. Hope you make out ok 👌I don’t see any bug spray in your gear!

Thermal clothing for job and sports is realy great for this. I never wear raingear for light showers and short showers... cuz i drie up in minutes in my sportswear... yeas whilst planting damn trees! :D

Canadian thrift shop prices are ridiculous. But whatever gets the chore done.

Angella Coombs no, it's Value Village. All other thrift stores are cheap. Value Village will sell an item for more money than the item costs brand new. For example, VV will sell an Old Navy T for $9.99, but the T at Old Navy is $6.99 and it's not on sale at ON. There have been many, many complaints about VV pricing policies.
