I'd say once you find your flow, pick an amount of money you want to make every day. before work, calculate how many trees you need to pant to get there(don't forget camp cost). then even if your day was a mega bummer, you still did what you came to do, you still made your 300 bucks a day or whatever your goal is.( I got this advice from a friend named Eric at my planting camp during he season the video is about.) while talking about how many trees you planted is fun, its about the pay statement , if you're being paid bi weekly, you only get like 5 - 8 of them depending on your contract, so make them count. oh and also no matter how much you don't have an appetite you gotta gorge yourself when you can in the morning and dinner, cause your body is gonna need that energy out on the block. in terms of planting ergonomics, plant ambi if you can, and switch things up in the way in which you plant trees to avoid over using muscle groups. that's my 2 cents, oh also I bring a towel-materialed bathrobe to camp. no changing in cramped shower trailer.

it was a free piano off of Facebook marketplace. . when it came to camp it was frightfully out of tune.dan and co used the whole thing with a phone tuner, a wrench and a drum key over the course of about 2 shifts of work
