Hi Martin Great explanation! I have just acquired same system from my father in law but I have a 25 litre compressor that has oil lubrication - is there any reason I should not use this? TIA
Just like when you use a compressor with an air gun, it turns on as and when the pressure drops below the set pressure. It will then switch off when the pressure in the tank reaches its set max pressure.
Great information, Martin. Now a video of the vacuum chuck being used would be great. Thanks.
Very useful information and well presented
Thanks for showing us your set-up Martin!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎😎
I was curious/interested in the hold fast vacuum chuck for an while but I didn't know very much about it. so, thank you for making this video!
Always interesting and informative, Martin. As always, thanks for sharing 🌞
Very Nice, Martin.

I have a question
Have you ever turned coconut palm, does it turn well or is it a problem wood that needs stabilising
Does the compressor run constantly while using the vacuum generator or does it cycle on and off?
Just like when you use a compressor with an air gun, it turns on as and when the pressure drops below the set pressure. It will then switch off when the pressure in the tank reaches its set max pressure.
I am attempting to use my pancake compressor and can't get enough pressure to hold wood. Any reccomendations?
How high of a vacuum can it pull and what pressure do you use at the compressor? Thanks...
